Wait…am I seeing this right? We’re getting a season pass for TWD, and for just $15?

    Sold.

    • Kino

on Steam, it’s $25…so that price could be wrong

      Like

It was $14.99 for Wolf Among Us, so I imagine the price is correct.

        Like

      • Kino

ohh okay, and i saw your other comment, so $20 in total. Kinda odd that Steam players pay $25 for all episodes in the season pass

        Like

      • mcmax3000

Yeah, I thought that too for Wolf Among Us. I wonder if that’s to offset the inevitable significant sales on Steam. Wolf Among Us has already gone on sale, and episode two for that isn’t even out yet.

        Like

    • Wojtek Bogdziun

plus Episode 1. In total $20

      Like

    • mcmax3000

Yeah, we got one for Wolf Among Us at that price too. You have to buy episode one separately for $4.99, then the season pass for the remaining four episodes is $14.99, effectively giving you all five episodes for $20.

I hope to get Xbox One sales for this countdown to 2014 event because its tough going digital when retailers will have way cheaper prices than Microsoft store. Also I’m, jealous that Sony has a deal with Amazon for digital games because they will have games cheaper than Microsoft store. I think now is the perfect time to have sales to make us feel confident about going digital

At least this time the DOTW is about different games. Would buy Apache Air assault, but 50$ for a game of 2011 is way too much and the 50% still put it at the same price as in store.

I can’t understand people claiming sales for Xbox One…
C’mon, guys, the system is not even a month old! And there aren’t even enough games to be put on sale or be given for free on Games with Gold!

They need to sell consoles. And where is the revenue from the consoles? Games.
So, if you are an early adopter (have I ever told how I love early adopters?), act like one and keep buying everything before everybody just to show how you are “up to date”. I know some people that barely played 30 games on X360, but already got a XOne.

I’m sure there will be posts like this for Xbox One as well, once there is a significant enough amount of information to post. Until then, I’d expect one off posts like the Peggle 2, and Spartan Assault ones.

IMO it overrated, with over priced DLC maps wasn’t it 1200msp for 3 maps ? anyway reason I think it overrated is because they took everything that made ghost recon good and got rid of it to compete with CoD and gears (the large co op terrorist mode was really fun on the old ones)

MAJOR NELSON: I know this has probably been asked before but there NEEDS to be a sale on ALL ME 3 DLC so it is 50% off, there was once a great sale on most ME 2 DLC many years ago but never one like it for ME 3. At the very least ME 3 “From Ashes” and “Citadel” need to be 50% off either during the “Countdown to 2014” or a DOTW soon after. There also NEEDS to be a sale for “Left 4 Dead 2’s Cold Stream” making it 50% off as there was only a one day sale on black friday in 2012 which many missed out on including me and it was not advertised anywhere that I know of.

2013 Countdown sale was good to me last year, hoping for some great savings for the 2014 Countdown!

Has Microsoft ever considered doing radical 1-day sales on a frequent basis? Something to motivate customers like myself to check in daily as opposed to weekly/bi-weekly? I feel like I would love going to Xbox’s website or going on my console each day and thinking “gosh, I wonder what crazy savings Microsoft is going to throw out today only!”

You would have so much more of my money if this were the case:)

not now bud, but I just went through my hard drive and deleted content I no longer play there quite a lot space you can recover by doing it, though it is annoying when out of the blue you wanna play it again so you have to re download it, even if I had a 2TB id still do the same

That’s another problem in itself – what was Microsoft thinking introducing the One with only a 500GB drive, especially when requiring all games to be fully installed on the drive.

I agree and I’m not replacing it until I know for sure that those people that do won’t be banned from the service in the future. I’ll be replacing it with a 2TB one when I can.

MS will be adding support for external hard drives and the internal hard drive is described as “non-replaceable”.

        Like

      • Death Dealer

Yes, but quite a few people have already done it (including two friends of mine) and I’m planning to do it once the warranty runs out even with external device support as mine is already full.
But I won’t do it if this risks a ban from the service. MS should release a proper statement about this.

        Like

      • AC130

Can you not attach external drives of any size? Sure it sounds messy but at least you can have as much space as you want.

        Like

      • Death Dealer

Yes you can, but that doesn’t change the fact that the bare storage space for the Xbox One is quite small when all the games are growing and growing. Mine is just full with 7 games. My 360 was full with 200+ arcade games.

        Like

      • AC130

Microsoft can never get it right. At least you are not limited by size like 360 is.

        Like

      • IvanCD(MaidenLOKO)

agreed…if MS provides no limited external storage support then I don´t see it as a huge problem…I´m really hopping they update the system to allow this asap…

Something that I don´t really understanding is why MS didn´t provide a proper hd manager like in the 360. I no tech genius but I think it´s a basic feature, I mean to have access and to manage your stuff in the HD…

        Like

      • ElektroDragon

Which is one of the reasons my Xbox One will be an exclusives only machine while my PS4 takes up the multi-platform game duties. I know they say I’ll be able to attach external storage to X1 “eventually”, but who wants more clutter, and how do I know it won’t be limited in size? Better to upgrade my internal PS4 hard drive as needed to a faster SSHD drive. Of course, the other reason is the weak GPU in the X1. But I’m still enjoying my X1 exclusives, just finished Peggle 2!

If they really want to support the 360 for at least 2 more years and continue to push digital games, they really need to make a bigger hard drive option available for the 360. My 320GB has been full for quite a while and I hate buying USB drives for the GoD titles – I have 4 32GB ones already full and another one to be delivered today so I can finish downloading the titles I bought during the Black Friday sales.
