  1. Hey Microsoft, please, please, pleeeeease lift the 32GB limit for external USB drive storage. I have a fat Xbox 360 plus USD 320 in my account but I’m unable to buy any of the deals because I don’t have any free space available.

As my console is the fat model, things get worse. I’m not able to find any new 320 GB hdd in microsoft store.

That could be easily solved if Microsoft could lift the 32 GB USB limit.

      1. Why be afraid just make a backup of your digital games, dlc to another HDD. I currently have a back HDD sitting on a 1 TB drive sure it doesn’t work on the 360 but anytime you want to play that game u just transfer it to ur 360 HDD

    1. Try eBay for 250 or 320g fat hard drives. Should b bout $70 aus. Their not official but I’ve heard their good. I myself got an Xbox 360 E console 4gb just after Xmas for $79!!! We had a $100 dollars cash back deal here in aus and I somehow picked up a slim hard drive 320g for $47!!! Top deal and its so nice to have extra space. I was maxed at 120 plus usbs for 2 years.

  2. It’s actually not a bad sale on F1 2013… haven’t seen this price anywhere else for a new copy…
As for the rest that I find interesting
    ACBrotherhood – vulgar price
    LPlanet 2 – vulgar price
Darksiders II – probably still a bit too high…

…and agree with you m8s complaining about hard drive issue… don’t see why not unblock the 32Gb limitation… at least to something bigger… like 120Gb? …hell, even just over to 64Gb would sound like a charm 🙂

    1. I dont think today is that bad either. I’m glad the message about HDD space appears to be the big gripe with the 360 atm. Its an unnecessary limitation which is holding it back. Hopefully this is the opportunity we need to make MS to take note.

    2. Darksiders 2 is actually cheaper than when I bought it on sale 2 or 3 weeks ago, pretty decent buy except there are two achievements you can’t get due to a server being done and the other being an achievement for getting all the achievements…

  3. While I don’t think I will buy anything today, these deals are actually pretty good, everyone seems to expect Steam type sales and never really appreciates when we get something like this.

    1. In the case some would wonder about it, there are some games that are on sale for the whole week. An other part changes every day, so the sale should include at least 5 different daily offers (the last one tending to last for the weekend usually).

  4. “now through tomorrow only (19 February 2014)”. It’s Feb 18 and I don’t see the deals. What time are these deals supposed to show up? U.S. eastern time zone over here.

  5. Hey guys can you give me advice? I’ve wanted to snag darsiders 2 for a while now I’ve just had so many games backed up that I had to play and it was always 59 bucks on the live store.. I’m just wondering if you guys think this game is worth the time? How long is the campaign? Is it open world? And finally how is the story? I know you can read all about it, I just much rather hear opinions of regular gamers over rearing reviews on sites.. thanks in advance fellas ! Also I’m in the middle of downloading strider on my Xbox One 😉 hoping its gonna be sweet!

    1. I haven’t played darksiders 2 yet, but I actually got it 2 days ago from my video shop for $5. Its said to hold its ground amongst titles like DMC or Dantes inferno….2 games I love to bits. Can’t wait to play it. Busy getting stuck into bastion. I’m hanging to play the new strider trial 2nite on 360. And yes I know the 360 is 720p and 1080p on the one but thems the breaks. So far this sale I’ve got bastion and motocross madness. $5 aus for both. I’m pretty happy.

      1. Yeah I might check out my game store before paying 14.99 for it. I was always baffled at how it cost 59.99 on the live store I haven’t played the first one either. Oh and strider is pretty cool.. I never played any of the other ones but I know this one is really fast paced and gets pretty good once you get some new powers

    2. If you played and enjoyed Darksiders 1 then I’d definitely recommend 2.Length wise the campaign is probably around the 15hr mark but there is a ton of optional stuff to do that can easily add many more hours to the game.It is open world in the same way as the likes of zelda i.e you can explore but many areas will be inaccessible without the right item/equipment or too difficult if you’re too low level.Story wise I can’t say it was too memorable(it’s been over a year since I played it) but if you liked the first ones story then you’ll probably enjoy this one

The one suggestion I will make is check how much a new physical copy of the limited edition costs where you live. The limited edition includes the Argul’s Tomb DLC which adds another couple of hours of gameplay.

    3. Gameplay is Assassin’s Creed tier, if you like the series, you’ll like it.
Fighting is pretty boring like DmC.
Story is weak(help people out because you can then have no idea what do next)
      Loot is Borderland tier.
Exploring is useless thanks to the loot system.
So it’s a mix between AC, Borderland and DmC.

  6. Although no game interests me, the discount % are much more
aggressive recently. Hope this is because MS improving its marketing
strategy, not because MS giving up 360……..

  7. were are the good game??

    shadow complex
    diswaher vampire smile
    diswasher dead samurai
    super contra
    omega five
    death smile II
    strania
    south park tower defense

    etc….

MS should improve in quality instead of % rebate on cheap game

      1. If it can help, concerning racing games, Dirt 3 is on sale actually, for an excellent rally game, and Ridge Racer: Unbounded seems fine too (on sale if you have “gold”).

      2. Dust An Elysian Tail, which is 80% off right now, is also a metroidvania game. The exploration part is not as deep as Shadow Complex, but the combat is very fast paced and enjoyable. Story is good too. Overall a good game.

      1. the game is average (but worth playing) only problem 29.99$ it to high for it so a sale for that game would made many buy it (many hold themselves off due price is to high)

      2. deathsmiles 2 is a good quick game has a Christmas theme to it but only prob is they never did an English translation on it so its in Japanese only. I only bought it when MS store had the points discounted

  8. Hahaha Farming Simulator??? Really? I don’t know what’s more hilarious about it: that such a “game” even exists, or that they were originally charging THIRTY dollars for it! Oh well I guess this sales event can go nowhere but up from this.

      1. how do you figure that. Whether they gave you a full game or half game at least it is better than nothing. Back PS1, and Sega Saturn days you got a demo disc of random games at least they give you a game whether its trimmed down or not

      2. So I should be happy that they sell a trimmed bundle copy as the full retail copy. If you did not realise that there was a trimmed copy it is very easy to end up buying it and finding out it has only one disc and that disc will not function with Disc 2 from the normal copy. Probably why I will not touch another Forza game; Turn 10 are ridiculous with the milking anyway.

      1. I guess using Gamestop as a comparison at $49.99 new, that makes sense, I’ve just never actually seen Darksiders 2 go for full retail still. Hell, the limited edition is only $22 brand new on Amazon. Ah well, can’t win em all.

  9. Wow SoulCalibur II really launched at the wrong price didn’t it? £3.99’s about right.
Of course it would be £3.39 if you hadn’t changed the pricing model to rip us off.

Nothing here for me today although Brotherhood, SC2, Hell Yeah and Fruit Ninja are fairly well-priced. Lost Planet 2 as well arguably although it kind of sucks. Everything else about the same compared to retail really.

  10. Please MS, you should consider seriously about lifting the 32gb limit. A HD of 320gb is not enough and collectors like us want to see all our games together in the “My Games” section. Many people are concerned about this issue, and we would appreciate an anwser. Thank you.

    1. it’s included… read description on marketplace for more details on content 😉 it alson includes the two historic circuits, B. Hatch and another one I don’t rember which

  11. Was going to pick up a couple of these but turns out you can’t use Microsoft credit to purchase through the Microsoft Xbox website! I realize its only a few bucks, but I specifically bought Microsoft credit so that I could make small purchases like this without hitting my account or credit cards all the time. I will not be able to access my Xbox until the end of the week and by then these prices will not be available.

  12. here for days 3 (since MS cant do it i will do it for them )

  13. MS, when are you going to catchup to Apple when it comes to payment options? I can use funds I have in my iTunes account when I make purchases through my phone and even see my balance before I make a selection. How long are you going to stay behind the curve?
