Twitch Broadcasting Streams from Xbox One March 11th

“Xbox, Broadcast.”

Beginning March 11th, those two words will allow Xbox One owners to share their gaming experiences with the world via Twitch.tv.  On that date, the new Xbox One Twitch app will enable broadcasting, complete with console-exclusive features.

Kinect allows you to easily include your picture-in-picture video feed and audio commentary along with the game broadcast, and when you’re done, you’ll have the option to archive your Twitch broadcasts into your personal broadcast library.

If you’re more comfortable watching streams than broadcasting them, Xbox One’s Twitch app will allow you to set up notifications for when one of your Favorites begins broadcasting, and you’ll have the opportunity to join a broadcaster’s party. Note that Twitch’s Xbox One app allows you to view streams regardless of their original source.

March 11th is only two weeks away, so now’s a great time to sign up for a Twitch account, or to download the Twitch viewing app from the Xbox Store, if you haven’t already.

Now if only there was a new, big game coming out in March for you to stream…
