        Seriously. Next gen gives the companies the platform to make a high end game if that company has the resources to commit to it. It doesn’t mean EVERY game is going to have great graphics or be a huge open world or anything like that. Smaller developers aren’t going to automatically be able to pour twice as much money into their games just because the console is stronger.

    Doesnt look bad persay but doesnt pique my interest either. It looks like a lemmings clone nothing more nothing less. Nothing special to stand out in the marketplace. Feels like it should maybe be a tad cheaper 20/25 non members seems a bit much for a lemmings clone

    Whatever next gen indie still looks plain and uninspired. Should be closer to 12 or so my guess is we will see it on sale in the future I dont think there was huge demand for a lemmings clone. This one doesnt even seem to do anything different or anything

      you have no idea how much I want a lemmings clone… I would probably pay $25 if it had like 100 levels, but since I think this game will be short I am not buying and really hoping it becomes free

    I wonder if this is an Xbox exclusive. I wonder how they’re avoiding Sony suing them since they own Lemmings franchise ever since buying Psygnosis.

    It would be really messed up if this came out on PS4, since on PS4 Team 17 would theoretically be allowed to publish an ACTUAL Lemming game (as they have in the past being the dev who invented the franchise), not a Lemmings game in sheep’s clothing! I mean look at they sheep’s faces, they even look like Lemmings.

      sony doesn’t quite do that much but plus member with get a few bucks off on all new releases. if the games like 15 they might charge like 12.50 or something not much but its usually a few bucks off.

    If this is how indie developers are pricing their games on X1/PS4 I simply won’t support them, even on sale. $25 is almost half the cost of a AAA retail game.

      agreed just because its next gen some indie developers are getting ideas to price their titles wee bit too unrealistically. So its 25 bucks for a lemmings clone…um…is there anything new or different here?Graphics look okay nothing jaw dropping. Gameplay looks like classic lemmmings

      this should have been close to like 12 or so. I imagine it wont sell like hotcakes and they will be forced to sale price this shortly

      No problem with indies or lemmings personally its just that i’m not sure how much demand their is for a lemmings game much less one being sold at 25 bucks. Just like worms was priced too high so is this.

    Why are the prices so high? Indie games charging £20 and some UK retailers have put the price of aaa games up to £55 it’s seriously getting ridiculous now. And no trials ontop of that.

      agreed. Price should be closer to 15 for non-members 10 for members. Actually not that it really matters. With all the influx of x1 games that actually stand out i doubt this game will linger long at that price.

      Might be a few early adaopters who buy it like worms but the price will surely drop down to a more sensible range.

      Maybe their mentality it price it high and then lower it accordingly knowing full well its not worth their original cost. Then people start grabbing it up thinking its a deal when it goes on sale. Much easier to price high and go down as needed

      20 for a lemmings clone that literally does nothing new or different except blood. Wow thats creative. Waiting on the sale or better yet gwg

    I wish they would bring over the old classic arcade titles that the 360 had and give us a break on them. I know I can just switch over to my 360, but I’d rather just stick to playing on my new XBox One rather than having to go back and forth. I’m talking the Joust, Pac-Man, etc… kind of old arcade titles.

        I really don’t like the way Sony is doing it with their streaming service. You pay to “rent” the title, so it doesn’t go into your library and you don’t “own” it. Just borrowing it for a bit and you have to pay each time. That is the one thing about sony’s plan that I REALLY hope MS doesn’t follow, because to me, that’s just a rip-off.

        I kinda suspected when the sony streaming started that it would be a mess price-wise. Both ms and sony usually have a problem differentiating between the current market value vs what they charge.

        MS always charges above current market prices on their digital marketplace. Which i strongly suspect they know and are not ignorant about since their digital marketplace is a monopoly. So they aren’t rushing to adjust prices for competitors since theirs is the only digital option we have.

        Sony didn’t think their prices through and didn’t bother to consult market prices currently and try to balance them out the differences between buying said game new and renting them. The rental prices are so close to actually buying some of the titles that its not worth it and better to buy them outright

        If they offer the option to buy, that’s great, but if it’s only a “rental” service, then it’s a rip-off because you don’t get to keep anything, but they keep your money.

        I’m just saying that I want the games, but I want them in my library so I can play when I want without restrictions. And this all started with my question of whether we’ll get arcade classics on the new XBox One marketplace…..

        Just saying, that is what I want. Not rental rip-offs, I want to have them in my collection.

        not even sure what your babbling about. Its a rental service sony is clear on that.

        If your talking buy them to stream indefintely? The system isn’t setup for that. Even if it was why would you want to? Not sure why everyones so for cloud streaming of games? Games are huge and you will have lag. Not everyone has the required high speed bandwith. You download it once it plays from your system without lag. Why would anyone want cloud streaming for high bandwith and system intensive things like games. Its there anytime you want it on your harddrive

        It’s obvious you just like to argue to argue. My opinion (see, my OPINION) is that the streaming “rental” service of games is a rip off because they are charging as much as you can purchase them for. If you like that and have money to throw away, wonderful for you. You’re a lucky one. Being a cost aware buyer means that I’m not rich like you and like to buy my games and enjoy them for years to come.
        When I can buy a compilation disc of 20+ old Midway games on disc for twenty bucks, then I know the cost of releasing each game separately for five bucks isn’t a hard thing to do for them. Considering that the compilations ARE out on previous systems says that they obviously do sell and there is a market.
        I’m just saying that my (again) OPINION, is that the streaming “rentals” are a rip-off. When I spend five bucks on an old title, I feel I should have it in my library for good.

        ? Not sure where the first statement comes from but your entitled to your own opinion. As far as pricing goes yeah i completely and utterly agree sony messed up the pricing in regards to how close the rental cost and purchase costs are. Its why the streaming setup sony has has been for the most part a failure. Most gamers are not idiots and are price conscious and aware how much those rentals cost vs actual real world pricing.

        As far as old school compilations i personally welcome them, Just saying that expecting them on next gen anytime soon might not be likely.

        it depends on what u are like, as for me i seem to buy a game play it to see what its all about and lose interest very quick. so a pay as go service would probably save me money. I guess u are a play and complete kinda guy:)

        umm…not sure what that has to do with the likelihood of more arcade classics coming to the marketplace vs. what i mentioned above as points. Some of those games are literally a few 100k pop who wants to bother streaming such a miniscule size. Much easier to just purchase and download them to keep. who wants to rent asteroids? seriously not even sure what kinda point your making? If the demand isn’t really there for buying them to download not seeing how streaming them is suddenly going to make a difference.

      Well there used to be those old atari, midway and namco arcade classics sets being sold for 360. Again it really depends on who owns the rights and for what classic games in particular your thinking of.including. Not sure if you could get one collection including all those old favorites since many publishers different rights,etc.

      I mean they could probably put them out for next gen but would probably get flack for not utilizing the next gen also pricing gets tricky. Exactly how much to charge exactly is open for criticism. Pac-man classics got released for like 15-20 bucks or so and people were like what thats too much i can play this for free in my browser! So yeah no suiting everyone it seems. Most people are spoiled by mame or other ways to be able to play those classics for free

      Thats odd if not ironically funny (not for me of course i didn’t buy it) imagine those who did are p.o’d How much btw? I knew they priced it a bit high for a lemmings clone. Thing is if they either had the price lower or had something to differentiate this title it would probably do okay

      Cue the inenvitable sale. Still even with price drop i don’t imagine its going to pick up that much anyways. Seems to be flying under the radar and nobody seems to be talking about it
