Celebrate Forza Horizon 2 at Microsoft Stores, unlock the Exclusive Audi RS 4 Avant

Forza Horizon 2 launches next week, and Microsoft retail stores are planning activities to mark the occasion on Day 1 and beyond. On Tuesday, September 30th – launch day – at least the first 25 customers to pick up their copy of the game at each of the 104 Microsoft retail stores in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico will receive a Forza Horizon 2 gift bag.

PreOrder Audi Forza Horizon 2

If you pre-order Forza Horizon 2 in store before Tuesday, receive a $10 gift card for Microsoft Stores or $10 to spend in the Xbox Store if you order on MicrosoftStore.com. A pre-order will also net you a Microsoft Store-exclusive in-game code to unlock the Audi RS 4 Avant in-game.

Additionally, select Microsoft retail stores will have Thrustmaster Ferrari 458 Spider Racing Wheels available for purchase at $99.99, while supplies last.

Microsoft Stores across the country will also host gameplay tournaments from Tuesday, Sept. 30 through Sunday, Oct. 5. To find out more about tournaments, contact your local store.

If you don’t want to compete, you can try the game, pick up a copy of Forza Horizon 2, and get a custom Forza photo taken. You can also trade in your Xbox 360 or PS3 and receive $100 towards your Xbox One console purchase. More details about our game and console trade-in program here.

Station wagon with a 4.2l V8. 450hp is a bit much to make it a typical grocery getter.

For a company that wanted DRM and to limit used games you’re doing a terrible job rewarding those gamers who buy digitally, you know the people who can’t trade-in their games.

Absolutely brilliant post. Digital just can’t compete with the CENTURIES old retail machine. It’s just a whole different world in terms of incentives, promotions, discounts, timely price drops, etc. Until they get the SAME people to manage digital products as if they were retail, not just Microsoft, but globally, this will continue to happen and retail will always be a better value one way or another, with just a few limited exceptions here and there.

Reward people who pay more for the digital versions, they are the ones that support the industry the most.

LOL. Gotta hear your logic on that one. I don’t buy digital, ever.. but I’m fairly confident I’ve been supporting the developers, publishers and platforms a lot more, and for quite a bit longer than you and your digital library. I mostly believe this because by from your comments I discern you can’t be more than 18.

I wasn’t talking about myself but for digital buyers in general. Your eyes must be blurry from all the crying u do every time u wake up next to ur wife. Theres no need to follow my posts like a stalking ex gf.

Microsoft Taiwan is giving away all 4 preorder bonus cars without preorder, just registration after purchase. And, where are the pre-order bonuses for pre-ordering digital Forza Horizon 2 on the Xbox One? Apparently, nowhere to be seen.

I think Microsoft stores are very embarrassing. First off, I loathe Apple and their over-priced products, and their very lame, waiting in line around two blocks die hard fans. I loathe their pompous stores, with their delicious wastes of space. But at the end of the day, their stores are full. They might be full of hipster idiots, but they are full. MS ripped their store format, which is bad enough. But to make matters more embarrassing, their ripoff stores are also always almost completely empty.

I just want MS to be better, and in the case of their stores, they are very weak, and they are followers.

So…that will be a pass for me, Chip.

Haha it really is sad, isn’t it. I’m from Canada so most times we are included but I feel it’s just a “what the hell there’s only 15 or so people up in canada anyway” kind of reasoning behind adding us hahah.. Microsoft really needs to pick up its game outside of NA

Why isn’t there an Xbox One steering wheel with a clutch? I hate paddle shifters because they force me to hold the wheel one specific way. Not only does the PS4 get such a wheel, it also supports wheels made for the PS3.

I concur. Forza puts the clutch on the LB button, and if you’ve actually driven a car with a clutch, you’ll know that you can’t use it by simply pressing on and off. You need a pedal that registers 0<x<1, and not only 1 and 0.

It’d be pretty rad if for those that buy the Xbox One version digitally, we got the 360 one as well on our account (and vice-versa).

Just like Brazil. We have one of the most expensive games in the world. Forza here costs BRL 200. Something like 81 USD.

A Thrustmaster TX Wheel here costs 4000 BRL. 1626 USD. The US price for this is 400 USD.

I bought this today at the MSstore. Later when I opened the game no code is on the receipt or in the box for the Audi RS. Where is it supposed to be? The DayOne stuff is in there though and the swag bag had great things inside!
