Game Description:From indie pioneers Zen Studios (makers of Pinball FX2 and CastleStorm) comes KickBeat Special Edition, an innovative rhythm game with a Kung Fu theme, featuring fully 3D characters and high-energy music! The KickBeat Special Edition Soundtrack features tracks from a diverse lineup of artists from well known bands such as Pendulum and Marilyn Manson, to indie musicians Celldweller and Blue Stahli, to hidden talents like electronic music producer Voicians and Taiwanese rapper Shen Yi.

We got rid of the bars, arrows, button icons, etc. that other music games rely on as action cues and replaced them with fully 3D animated characters. Instead of just seeing characters in the background moving to a preset script as eye candy while the actual gameplay takes place in an abstract 2D interface, you actually control and react to those 3D characters. That means you actually get to focus your attention on what those characters are doing! As you play the game, you’re creating your own fight sequence with your button presses. We also let you get rid of all the other interface parts (such as score) if you like, so that there are no distractions from the action. KickBeat features a full length single player campaign with beautifully hand drawn animations and a unique art style.

Have Zen studios finally released a game on the One with no pricing issues? CBA checking as I really don’t like the look of it.

Zen always seems to have pricing issues. Not convinced they push ms to rectify said problems as fast or as diligently as they claim.

Titanfall season pass problem? fixed by next morning

The Walking Dead not importing like it should and still charging for it? its not us its microsofts fault! we are a simple developer under the control of big bad ms!

cough cough dragging feet unless theres a uproar over next gen tables not importing, Give in allow is now claiming vague technical issues

I’m still having problems with the marvel pack and two stand alone tables not importing. Keeps wanting to charge me. Very frustrating.

Its sad and a bit pathetic to see the moderator/representative flimsily trying to defend this prolonged delay over on the official zen forum. All the time its we are helpless and its not under our control we don’t control the marketplace.

titanfall not even 1 full day. Zen taking their time and not even asking MS to put up a disclaimer on this in the meantime and trying to convince us they really don’t wish to charge us. RIGHT Zen completely believable. Add on a few more months after which most people would either give up or bite the bullet and pay.Which the way its heading now is what you really want.

I thought that when ZEN asked for the gamertag of all the people that were unable to transfer the tables , it was because they were sorting out a FIX . So far nothing from them ….. MS …. ZEN ….. Anybody …… Non of them give a dam . sort it out guys

Anyone notice that the quality of smaller downloadable console titles has gone down considerably ever since the “indie” craze? Big publishers are no longer interested in competing with the indies, but the indies often don’t have the resources to create really good games 9 times out of 10.

Not really. You have a choice to purchase. As long as there is not a huge influx -a la phone games- and the stores remain maintainable it’s really not a big deal.

Indies have their place but I’m not really bothered by them. I can pass on them easily these days but there is a few cack ones starting to pop up. The one and only indie game that has me excited is No Mans Sky. It is reason enough for me to buy a PS4 as soon as I know when its coming out.

Agree. I’ve been thinking about a PS4 just for that game alone as well. I have heard mixed messages saying it may come out on PC and X1 but that game looks AMAZING.

I think it’s defiantly coming to PC but Hello games have kept tight lipped about the XBO. Like the other games they made for the ps3/360 it will probably come to the XBO eventually but everything about it is shrouded in a fine layer of mystery.

Yea it’s mixed message but when they first annonced the game it was a PC/PS4 game.
Then Sony just told them to keep quiet about PC.
Kinda like what Sony did with destiny in the UK, forming MS to pretend the game is a perfume to advertise it.
I think they reconfirmed it was coming on PC a few months ago too.
