Game Description: Amidst the chaos of the late Roman Empire, become soldier Marius Titus and embark on a perilous campaign to avenge the death of your family and defend the honor of Rome. In Gladiator Mode, step into the Colosseum and fight for the glory, spectacle, and entertainment of the crowds. Legendary Edition includes full Season Pass contents, three bonus maps optimized for maximum challenge in Solo mode and a new Legionary Skin.

The full season pass included in the Legendary Edition contains four Game Add-Ons:

Morituri Pack includes five all new maps, five maps optimized for Solo Mode, and a new Gladiator skin, “Oswald.” Infiltrate an enemy camp to subvert the barbarian invasion on “Beacon,” and fight fire with fire in ancient Egypt on “False Gods.” “Revolution,” challenges you bring light to a dying empire and restore the glory of Rome. Two new Survivor maps, “Sulfur River,” and “Forbidden Forest,” challenge you to kill to survive. Finally, Solo mode is also available for the “Market,” “Garden,” “Beacon,” “Revolution,” and “False Gods” maps.

Duel of Fates Pack includes three all new maps, three maps now optimized for Solo Mode, and a new Gladiator skin, “Oswald.” The “Invictus” map was inspired by the first servile war of 135BC, while “Barbarous” forces you to defend the gates of Rome. In the new Survivor map, “Island,” you’ll find yourself outnumbered and surrounded by water. Finally, test your mettle in Solo mode on the “Barbarous,” “Invictus,” and “Obelisk” maps.

The Mars’ Chosen Pack includes a new multiplayer mode, five new multiplayer maps, and two new Gladiator Skins. Fend off your impending death in three new Survival Mode maps: Courtyard, Firestorm, and Dockyard. In addition, new Arena Mode maps Pyramid and Obelisk take you into the heart of Egypt. Finally, enter the Colosseum as two new contenders: Oswald and Legionnaire.

The Colosseum Pack contains two new maps and two new skins for Gladiator Mode. In Henge, defend an ancient forest shrine from a horde of invaders. In Ascension, fight from the burning embers of Hades’ lair up to the lavish surface world. Plus, customize your Gladiator Mode character with Commodus and Centurion skins.

      Im in the preview program and the update is buggy. Party chat has some issues, main dash still lags a bit (I feel I need to “quit” out of everything I open to give the console its full potential.

      The Bandwidth usage comes in handy if you need to track although I am not sure how accurate it is.

      I dont like how the friends section is laid out. From the Home area you only see maybe half the friends bar until you “RB” over to that area. I liked seeing online friends from the Home area, not having to cycle over to another.

        And the console seems to be turning off the vibration of the control everytime you turn off and on the controller during a game, i don’t know if this is my controller or the update.

      this means nothing. It will still be gwg. trust me it’ll come. If anything they will be more likely to give it away because they can still sell the ultimate all dlc included version for those that choose that. My guess is by christmas it will be on gwg. With the option to buy the pass separate of course

        For the time being they can get by with indies and xbox arcade titles but eventually ms will have to offer AAA titles. just like sony will eventually. People will start complaining if that does happen eventually. You can bet the first AAA title will be ryse when that happens. Personally I’m waiting

        My guess is probably by xmas ms will come out banging their own drum going see how generous we are AAA Ryse!

    Slightly annoyed that I just bought the normal edition just 5 days ago. Already contacted Microsoft Support about this, but they told me they can’t do anything about it because Ryse is a third party title and I should contact Crytek. Currently awaiting reply from Crytek. Is this grounds to reverse the transaction and ask for a refund so that I can buy the legendary Edition?

      it was announced some time ago, so there is not much they will do for you. The game is fun, the DLC is pointless, so you’re really not missing much

    50 bucks? yeah….not seeing this as something many will grab up. The game i heard was short and a glorified tech demo.

    Better would be to just go to gwg which i’m sure will happen especially with this goty edition. They can giveaway the game and sell the pass for like 10 bucks.

    This will probably go down in price quickly. Ian actually the legendary/goty edition probably means its more likely to come to gwg actually. The GWG version i assume will be bare bones so they can scrape some cash via dlc. Alot of games get given on gwg or igc on sony after the ultimate/goty,whatever edition get announced. Quite the opposite

      agreed a tad high for a game that was essentially a day 1 console release from many months back. If you were interested you either got it by now or not.

      Expect this legendary edition to drop down in price fast so wait on it if anyone’s interested.

      This and dead rising apocalyptic edition i’m not sure will be big sellers at those prices.

    Well damn. I could have saved a ton if I did not buy this at launch. But I guess the benefit is always that I have played it already, and got to get all those past Challenges (mostly) completed since Dec of 2013.

        Wrong. The people who are buying the Legendary edition are now getting the season pass free, essentially. So why shouldn’t loyal early customers who bought the game at the same price with no pass be treated the same way? This shows preferential treatment for those who waited. Entitlement my rear, its called sound business strategy.

    why is the regular Ryse digital download 49.99 and the Ryse legendary edition also 49.99? shouldn’t the regular game, i don’t know…be cheaper than the legendary edition?
