Xbox Store Week in Review

It’s October and that means pretty much every week is a busy one on the New Release Calendar. In the last few days, the following Xbox One titles arrived on the Xbox Games Store.

      Give it time. It doesn’t release until 11/18, and games seem to go up for pre-order/pre-loading on the Xbox One Marketplace 2-3 weeks before release.

      Games seem to go up for pre-order when they go gold so that they can be pre-loaded immediately, so I would expect it closer to release.

        Ohh yeah. I can’t wait to get evil within on Tuesday ! So you’re liking alien eh? I’m having a problem getting into it to be honest.. I’ve found after about a half hour I start to get bored and end up playing something else. It’s a gorgeous game I just wish it could keep my ADD brain focused.

    Bit Off Topic: but for those interested in dark souls 2 which is on sale for 30 bucks or so amazondotcom has the collectors edition with cool statue,etc for the same price for those who don’t mind hardcopy over digital.

    Finally getting into the 3rd game! that lonely spot on my shelf set aside will finally be filled.Love when i waited and patience paid off with collectors edition going for much less.

    Off topic: Ideas for free games for gold: first half maybe Lightning Returns Final Fantasy XIII (very recent game, but most likely won’t make anymore profit than it already had gotten.) Or Assassins creed 4 ( another recent game, but let’s face it since rogue and unity is coming out, then there shouldn’t be much of a problem giving it out for free, I would of said 3 but it was recently on sale.) And second half could be Sonic adventure or Pacman championship edition DX, or maybe one of the many Tomb Raider games. Lol

      Black Flag would be great for Christmas on the Xbox One as a bonus, even it was only available for a week until new year (making it available for only one day would probably crash the internet). I’m betting next month will be something like Lococycle and Strider. It’ll always be download only smaller games that get the priority.

      I still think that Forza Horizon is a big target for the Xbox 360, also, keep in mind sometimes we get 2 Arcade games, sometimes we get 2 Games in Demand (like this month). Sometimes the Arcade game comes first. I can see AC 4 as being a GwG on the Xbox One, maybe not so much on the 360, though that is cause we usually don’t get two games from the same series as gwg and we have already gotten AC2, but that rule was broken by Halo Reach so tt is possible. I wouldn’t mind Sonic Adventure 2 for free, but I really want to see us get Strider like PSN did.

    Fanfreakintastic! Tons of music tracks have infested the new releases in the “add-on’s” section of the marketplace. – it really gets on my nerves.
    I hated it on 360 with all the Rock Band tracks released every 20mins .. and now my poor 900p eyes have to wade through 20 lame Fantasia tracks just to fish out that one diamond DLC in the rough. (some crappy free car i wanted in forza2)

    -Please make me a filter so i can turn off “lame music game dlc”
    -and since you’re asking… i would also like “custom soundtracks” on Xbox1. – why did you take them from us? X1 is supposed to be the 360’s older brother.. not his retarded cousin.

    Cant pre-order NBA LIVE 15 until play in EA ACCESS trial… can we see some real basketball this year in nba live? I hope so.

    Been playing Forza Horizon 2 – i am very happy with that purchase! Incredible racing game. Only complaints are lack of splitscreen multiplayer and Kinect voice function seems very hit and miss.

    Any way you could bring back the regular non-legendary version of Ryse BACK to the Xbox One store for digital download? I already bought the DLC, and I wanted to go all-digital and get rid of my disc version and get the game digitally. But since I already have the DLC I just want the non-legendary edition… any way to bring the regular version back for digital download at a slightly reduced price for those of us that already bought the DLC or season pass?

      This. I’m in the exact same situation. I’ve been waiting for a price drop (one that actually fits for a launch game now nearly one year old…) on the regular version. Bought the season pass the last time it all went on sale, back when the game got a meager price drop, hoping for a better price in the future. Now, the regular version can’t even be purchased?
