Help Us Launch Sunset Overdrive Tonight, Live

We’re now just a few hours away from the North American launch of Xbox One exclusive Sunset Overdrive. Tonight, Insomniac Games’ Founder and CEO Ted Price and Game Director Drew Murray will join me to kick off the celebration in style, live on Twitch.

Starting at 9pm Eastern/6pm Pacific (click to see what time that is where you live) you’ll hear directly from the developers, get your questions answered live, and see lots and lots of Sunset Overdrive – even if you’ve been watching livestreams of Sunset Overdrive over the past several days, you won’t have seen this gameplay.

And, as usual, we’ll be throwing a few surprises into the stream. So get your questions ready, and we’ll see you tonight.

      It is my understanding that HE went to Microsoft because Sony wanted to call the design direction and own the rights to the game, where as MS allowed them to keep the IP and got out of their way.

      I never understood why one would by NEW games from gamestop. I’m all digital now (because I never sell my games), but if I had to buy physical media, I’d probably get it from the MS store since they almost always have a $10 cash back deal on new games..

    I’m definitely getting this on launch, however two things I won’t do: 1) Lineup at midnight for a videogame 2) Play it right away once I get it, I’ll wait a couple days to see if there are major glitches and bugs like I always do:)

    Can’t wait. This game is in my opinion the first triple-A Xbox One EXCLUSIVE (unlike Titanfall which was on PC and Forza 2 on Xbox 360) that will get excellent reviews and should be in line next to Gears of War and Halo’esque top exclusives.

    I hope this game does well. The Xbox team has put a lot of work into the platform over the last year and the X1 isn’t getting the respect it deserves. The features and games are second to none.

        I have been one of the biggest critics of the Xbox One as well as the GWG and DWG programs. However, over the past year you have to be blind or completely stupid to not see the improvements and effort that has went into the platform. So you can take your moronic comment shove it…

        Can’t argue that they are trying to improve but it won’t erase the years of terrible support of the 360.

        I don’t see myself buying anything from MS until I’m sure they won’t drop the support for the xbone in 2 years because they don’t feel they can make more money out of it.

    Quick question : you now have an all-digital platform for launching games (for download). Why are you still staggering releases for different continents? It happened with Forza Horizon 2, and it’s happening again with Sunset Overdrive.

    It annoys me to no end!

    Can someone send me an invite to the XBOX ONE preview program, I am having trouble preloading MCC on my XBOX and they say it works with that. I was in the 360 preview, I wish it carried over.

      i was bored and going back over old threads so i just thought i would ask if king diamond was really there because i had heard a year or so ago that he wasn’t doing well. sleepless nights song brings back memories of detoxing back in the day. that song would not stop playing in my head and i was miserable.

        Yes he was. Returned to full health after ripping open his ribcage for surgery. Sounded as good as on the albums, and no, it wasn’t lipsynced. Must be that Satanic power. LOL I’ve been a fan for like 25 years even though lately I listen mostly to industrial/elektro.
