Microsoft Stores Hosting Launch Events for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

Celebrate the release of the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Day Zero edition and take part in special events at all 104 Microsoft Stores on Sunday (yes, Sunday), November 2nd starting at 9 p.m. local time.

Ten Microsoft stores locations will also host special Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Day Zero events and create a full military-style atmosphere in-store including:

  • “Training Course” Recruitment Pass experience: check-in at five military-themed stations and be entered to win a new Xbox One Console.
  • An Army-themed “Mess Hall”: food to sustain your late night gaming, COD branded Mountain Dew Energy drinks and Doritos sampling, a live DJ and additional giveaways.
  • Combat zone gaming stations:  be among the first to play the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.

If you pre-order Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare before November 3rd, you will receive a $10 gift card for Microsoft Stores or $10 to spend in the Xbox Store if you order on MicrosoftStore.com. If you pre-order Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare online and are an Xbox Live Rewards member, you get an additional $5, which is $15 or 15,000 points total, toward the Xbox Store. If you haven’t upgraded to an Xbox One console yet, there is also a promotion for $50 off any Xbox One, including the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare console. That is in addition to Microsoft Stores’ competitive trade-in offers of up to $100 toward an Xbox One.

You can head to any Microsoft Store to try out the game and purchase Call of Duty: Advance warfare, but these stores have a complete experience detailed above: Fashion Valley (San Diego, CA), Oakbrook Center (Oakbrook, IL), Park Meadows (Lone Tree, CO), St. John’s Town Center (Jacksonville, FL), The Shops at La Cantera (San Antonio, TX), The Woodlands (The Woodlands, TX), University Village (Seattle, WA), Walden Galleria (Buffalo, NY), Westfield Century City (Santa Monica, CA), Yorkdale (Toronto, ON).

I’ll be at the University Village store in Seattle this Sunday starting at 9pm, so see you there…
