        But why go digital, when MS doesn’t care about our stuffed HDDs and won’t say how long they will support our digital purchases?

        I bought something silly for my avatar from the game NCIS, the game is no longer avaliable on the marketplace and so the “cosmetic” thing for my avatar is also gone, no refunds. I spoke with the support from Mexico and they told me that I should download everything I have bought digital because it could happen what happened with the digital purchases from the first xbox. >_>”! lamesauce I tell you.

        Goto your download history, all your purchased can be downloaded from there, even content no longer on sale. Obviously when they turn the service off your out of luck, that’s were console modding takes over.

        It isn’t there I already searched for it , the people from support also did, once they removed all the content from that specific game on the marketplace everything was gone for some reason, thanks for the reply tho. It wasn’t much of a loss but it’s just a little example of what could happen in the future.

      Really just depends on what kind of game you can enjoy. There’s no real combat to speak of in the game but it does tell a cool little story and there are some fun parts. I beat it I’m glad I bought it but some people would definitely not agree.

        Yup I paid full price when it came out and I have no regrets. I really loved LA noire as well… oh and another good one like that is the new sherlock holmes game. I’ve got 2 cases left I wish I had time to finish them.

        Hahaha agreed.. yeah I won’t be getting time to play sherlock holmes for a while either.. especially because I’m back on the road working now. I did get a chance to play some cod today before work.. I had to tether my Xbox one to my phone for Internet because the hotel Internet is no good… I was surprised at just how good it was.

        I went 15-7 my first match so there definitely was no noticeable lag. Going to try again when I get off tonight. I don’t remember.. did we exchange gamer tags?

    just saw thief and murdered for 13 pounds each as gold exclusives which is sad for me because i just bought thief 5 days ago for 18 pounds on amazon and murdered a month ago on game for 17.99. is they an algorithm out there to predict real sales discount period because i am really tried of this BOHICA.

        Yes, it’s a bit short but certainly a lot longer than D4. I think most people get through it in 12-14 hours. My system says I played for 20, but I did get all collectibles and took way more time than needed on the demon sequences. It’s a neat story, and really different style of game. Kinda like D4 in that aspect, but in a different way. A significant part of the storytelling is through collectibles…and it’s truly creepy if not scary.

        i am with Liquidfx Xboxdude on that except they are some slow down in really large areas on the 360 but nonetheless, i am actually enjoying this game’s story. it makes for a good palette cleanser after consuming too much action games.

    Everyone pick up Deus Ex while you can, I know its been on sale 100 times but my god its a great game with tons of replay value. I must have put over 100 hours in the game on the PS3 and its amazing.

        I’ve had that game 3 times now. First two times i had original version for PS3 & Xbox360 and stopped playing in middle of that uninteresting prologue chapter. Third time i had Director’s Cut for WiiU and i finally played that game a lot further. The game gets a lot better after the first two missions but for some reason my interest for game ended little after that boat trip to enemy base and i never finished it.

    I would really love to pick up D4 and Murdered, but I have absolutely no time to play them (thanks, Sunset and Halo) for at least the next couple months. I’m guessing we will see these go on sale again soon. D4 would make a great Games with Gold choice *hint*

      D4 is really cool, it manages to pull together a intriguing story, a cool and crazy cast of characters, its on strange sense of humour and some ridiculous awesome and funny action sequences.
      Sure its short and has a cliff hanger ending but I loved it. Besides SWERY65 needs those sales.

        I’ve personally played through it 4 times, I loved all the action sequences.
        My only issue is the tall guy that talks slowly, he gave me a headache. Other than that the game is pretty avant garde indeed.

        Try posting a comment using another browser, SI blocking people used to be a thing months ago, if it doesnt work maybe someone got mad at you and reported you to and admin via facebook, there are users that report other people for little things

      They do this for several reasons – mostly copyright and censorship. All stupid reasons if you ask me, but this is how the world goes:)

      What I really want is being able to download on-demand games in a different language. Either provide the original language pack (see Hitman Absolution) or allow to download it in a different language.

      It had to buy phisical copies of several games because the ondemand version didn’t contain the original language and I didn’t like the dubbing.

    MS censored my well-written rant today about my frustration that they keep throwing out deals to people will over-loaded HDDs, and can’t make a commitment to how long we all will “own” our digital purchases via 360 support.

    You would think they would make more money to forget about pirates, and just give us normal decent folk the ability to buy buy buy without having to stupidly worry about space and ownership problems down the road.

    Really annoying, and them deleting my post is a slap in the face.

      That’s what I think and worries me… there’s not enough space in the HDs and, at some point, we won’t be able to re-download the content we’ve purchased…

      I wanna keep my X360 in the same way I have my Sega Saturn, Dreamcast and PS2.

        If you tranfer all your licenses on the other xbox, you’ll be able to play without going online.
        That said, should they kill the 360 online, I’ll just hack my 360.
        Unlimited storage, region free and free games would be pretty neat.

        They won’t stop supporting for many many years. Like next “next gen”. You guys are getting worked up and crazy over nothing. If they were to stop xbox 360 support the backlash would be catastrophic and would destroy any new system sales.         Back up your profile using Horizon every day. It’s modding software but has its good uses like backing up saves and profiles on the computer. I only mod single player stuff btw. I hate people who mod multiplayer stuff.

      Because it has been said 1000x in the past. The games will always be tied to your account, but in case they ever stop offering a game for download it’s better to have it saved in your console for good. as long as its downloaded it will work (unless its a mp only game and the severs are shut down, but even then if its a p2p game you might still be able to play player hosted games).
      As for the HD comment, they just semi recently released a 500gb HD. So that with a few USB sticks should suffice.

      well i like it but that’s because i am a sucker for a big story and exploration so far i am enjoying it on 360. its a good break from all the action games
      i have been playing lately. but have this in mind; you are playing as a
      ghost trying to investigating is own death while helping other ghosts
      find peace (side missions) as well as exploring the town of salem as
      well its past dark and scary mysteries (more side missions).

    I know it’s a little off topic but I’m so pumped I’ve gotta say it… Gta 5 confirmed to have first person mode on next gen !! Man it looks so good.. oh and confirmed to run at full 1080 on xbox one for all you number crunchers out there😉 check out the vid!. they didn’t just put a camera in the players skull lol they actually reworked it from the ground up for fps mode! Looks so sick.

    i used to obsessively play sonic adventure 2 on my dreamcast. i loved the showdown between sonic and shadow where sonic says that sweet line “i die Hard” as well as the final supersonic and super shadow final boss tag team. it was one of my favorite games next to powerstone 1, ready 2 rumble, doa2 and shenmue 1 and 2. but i just don’t understand how the HD version destroyed this memory. it just does not play like the dreamcast version.

      Well, it’s based on the gamecube version so that’s probably why.
      The other reason would be nostalgia, the game was great for its time but really didn’t age well(still a good game though)
      I wonder what’s keeping capcom from making a power stone HD collection though, now that’s something i’d play over and over again.

    Question for you Americans out there… did video game prices go up for you guys as well this gen? Or is it just us Canadians.. I know xbox pledged not to increase game prices this gen..

    At first next gen games were still 59.99 here in canada, and recently made the jump up to 69.99 for multiplatform games… but the xbox exclusives were still only 59.99… until now that is. Sunset overdrive was 69 and so is halo mcc… I’m just wondering if it was only us Canadians who got stiffed or was it all of North America?

      Prices sure have gone up here in the UK and who suffers? The developers because I’ll happily pay £40 for a game like I did last gen, but £50-55? Hell no you can join the dole que for that developers.

        Was great when you could pick them up cheaper from India or Hong Kong but now they’ve blocked that…. well you can still use pre-paid cards from Play Asia on the Hong Store if you want.
        I’ve just snapped up AC Unity with Black Flag for £32 off eBay though, loads of people selling codes. I’ve also just paid about £34 for Halo as well using cheap gift cards from cdkeys and the few quid I had left in my Microsoft account. Just waiting to see what price GTA V is before I look at my options for that.
