    I still remember playing magic when I was like 10 years old haha.. my mom used to take me to the comic shop after school to buy cards.. would buy single cards for like 5 – 10 bucks back then (97) if only I could find my old collection I bet they’d be worth a lot today.

      Depending on what you have from that era it could be worth thousands. The Magic community has skyrocketed in recent years with no sign of slowing down. They tried to lower the cost of older cards by re-releasing them, but the price actually went up as more people got into playing the older sets. Good time to get back in casually though.

        Wow. I really have to try to find them. It’s funny my father and I were going through my old hockey card collection last year and we stumbled on about 100 garbage pail kids cards from 1986 in perfect condition. We went online to look them up and found that some of them are worth hundreds of dollars each lol. We even have a super rare one that apparently sells for in the thousands. We planned on getting them appraised but didn’t know where to do it and then kind of just forgot about it.. so they’re just still sitting at my parents house lol

    to bad they removed Two headed giant from this game, used to love that in the 2011-2014 versions of it. kind of disapointed in it, the game is still nice to play, but with the online feature only having matchmaking or private… there is no way i can play this online with my friend unless we get put in the same matchmaking match… missed oportunity from Wizards…
    still its well worth the 10$, though you can spend a lot more on the game if you want to unlock all the cards the easy way😉

      I read that making matchmaking work that way was done on purpose. The idea is that out stopped groups from cheating and helping each other against those not in the party in three and four player games.

    Are the packs you buy unlockable through playing, or are they add ons to the game? If I remember correctly the first one they released had these packs you could buy, but all you had to do was keep playing and you unlocked them eventually.

      Most of the cards are unlockable by playing the game (a small amount of grinding is involved) but there are also a few cards that can only be obtained by purchasing premium boosters.
