    I played assassins creed unity, and i have to say, good story and gameplay! everything is perfect! the only thing that bothered me is that if you play a cutscene that have many special effects the fps will drop below 20, other than that, very good! i plan to buy Halo:MCC in december, i heard many good stories about the multiplayer!

      You seem to have gotten very lucky. Everyone I know who has played it can’t stand the frame rate drops and constant pop-in. I played for a bit, and got stuck in a building while jumping around.

    I picked up Unity, I should have got Lego Batman ( released on same day here in the UK ) and waited till Unity was fixed. Pop in’s are dam annoying in today’s gaming era. Hardware should be able to render a game without the need for constant pop ins.

    Unity crowds are stupid, why have large crowds if they pop in. Them them smaller.

    “Most jam-packed release week of the year? I think so.”

    Halo: MCC – that should not even be listed as it’s the worse saga in the franchise by 343i. That has to be the most unplayable game for the week compared to any other games.

    Microsoft please get rid of 343i and bring back BUNGIE!

        LOL, yet Halo: MCC has an ongoing match making issue. It just shows how much they tested the game prior to releasing it to the public. With Bungie previous Halo series were fantastic.

        Since it’s been handed over to 343i Halo 4 was ok but had it’s fault and the game didn’t live up to it’s hype. Now Halo: MCC. 343i have done enough damage to the Halo franchise.

        What do 343i offer their fans/customers? Sorry messages which ain’t enough! By far 343i are the worse company along with Gearbox Software.

        I agree and Halo will never be as good as it was. Halo is slowly turning into a cheap cash grab with their micro transaction filled phone games Halo: Spartan Assault and the upcoming Halo: Spartan Strike and cashing in on remakes and cheap ports. Halo 4 was decent, the campaign was at least, but the multiplayer sucked, they tried to take too many traits from COD and it had a horrible ranking up system. Here’s hoping that Halo 5 turns out ok.

        Halo 4 is an excellent game, WTF is your problem sure its not the finest point in the franchise but it wasn’t a weak (or weakest) game in the series.
        They’ve done no damage to the series, the community itself is damaging it.

        Like

      • Sam

        yup, you hit the nail on its head…the community is whats destroying halo.

        Like

      • Pickleofwar

        Can’t tell if that was sarcastic (sorry) but it is partly the reason.
        The community isn’t accepting change an dismissing any new ideas being brought in like thrusters and ADS without actually testing them and giving genuine feedback on the new mechanics.
        I liked what halo 4 brought in even though it wasn’t fully explored, custom loadouts for one didn’t even work and there are balancing issues.

        Like

      • Hank Hill

        I’m ok with changes, but the changes they went with weren’t anything innovating, it was like they sat down in early stages of developing the game and were like “hey lets look at the games trending now in the multiplayer fps scene and implement this stuff into our game”, they went with it and they change the core formula of Halo. For me what made Halo fun and set it apart from other fps was how it was about the fight for control of the evenly placed power weapons on the map, players could time the weapon spawns and you pretty much knew what weapons your opponents had at all time, which made it involve a little more strategy and with the load outs and orbital drops(care packages) it ruined that.

        They should have released Halo MCC without MP first. And then, closer to Christmas, release MP part. This would make everyone happy. I bought Halo MCC because of the single player campaigns and am 100% satisfied with it

      Poor little kid, go back to your CoD or MoH games. Clearly you do not understand Halo to even have the nerve to say that. Given this is still HALO. It is still the four games of the Master Chief saga. It is still the same gameplay. So either you are trolling, and failing rather bad, or never liked Halo in the first place.

      1. 343 Is made up of Halo fans and probably some of the developers from Bungie that did’t want to leave the Halo project.

      2. Bungie cannot come back for at least another 10 years, they have a contract with Activision.

      3. Did you notice how Sony Play Station is getting exclusive content for a year on Destiny (Bungie’s latest game)? And Xbox gets 0 exclusives.

      I personally support both Bungie and 343, for my love of Halo, as well as it’s original developers.

        The campaign is a little lacking. Instead of a number of various islands with different goals you have 2 islands that carry over into the next mission with new goals. Other things have been added but it just feels the same. Edicts don’t have much visual effects like previous games, but there is a lot more. Overall its more of same but with less flair. If you haven’t played the previous ones get it, its still a quality sim/people manage/city builder. I’m just a fan who expected more so don’t let my negativity put you off.

        If (you get a match)

        you get stuck after the match;
        Else

        reboot the game;

    Hi guys, I just came to the realization why i may never buy a current gen console. they are literally an insult to Hardcore gamers and a figurative spit on our faces by Microsoft and Sony. the xbox 360 and its counterpart had the longest life cycle of about 8 years full of collection worthy hits compared to the last two console generation with a life cycle of about 5 years each and Sony America respected this by making PS2 and PS3 backwards compatible. at this point i have a collection of probaby 110+ on disc 7 to 9/10 games excluding rented and pawned games as well as over a 100 xbla games. i have literally spent over 3000 pounds on games and Microsoft and Sony expects us throw away our collection on ebay like they don’t deserve a lifetime support by making current gen backwards compatible.

      The new consoles utilize a different architecture, so an emulator would have to be made. Even high end PCs would have trouble with 360/PS3 emulation, so it probably won’t happen, unless you want to play on your PC through a free emulator in 2-3 years. Edit: Granted, the “Cloud” could hopefully make something like this possible, a la PSNOW.
