I love these tables because they take their time to recreate them to perfection and give you a lot of history on them as well. I actually prefer these to FX2 although I like them for originality.

Didnt you learn from the 360 version 2 years ago? All the promised content never actually came because the devs went bankrupt.
Pinball FX2 is of much higher quality and holds a higher regard in the pinball community

The developer didn’t go bankrupt, their publisher did which caused then problems updating and selling the game on the 360.

Actually FX2 don’t have to pay for licensing actual games so I wouldn’t consider them “higher regard in the pinball community” as I much prefer real, classic pinball machines over those made up ones. For the record I enjoy both and all however I prefer playing the games that I used to drop quarters in at the arcades growing up. And they put so much into them. And I don’t have to repeat what Michael said below. Be careful who you blame. This company has been making these games for other devices for a very long time and it was only the publisher that screwed us on the 360.

Any pins for free when you DL the starter? And will there be a S1, S2 and S3 pack to get us caught up with other formats? And when will you add new tables for 360?

From what little I looked at it this morning, there are no included tables. All three seasons are available for purchase for the One.

You get Tales of the Arabian Nights free with the download.

Cool! I didn’t have time to really check it out before I had to leave for work this morning and they really don’t give you much information regarding that.

51 tables and only 10 achievements? With Microsoft relaxing some of their achievement policies, I would have expected a much, much better list.

I’m always tempted to get these on my Vita, but their pricing is whacked. They released the Williams Pinball collection on disc a while back and that was only $20 yet they want to charge WAY too much for the downloaded. I just can’t (as much as I’d like to have this) support this. Value is everything for these types of downloads, and this really isn’t any kind of value. I’ll wait until their are having a major sale on them. I’m patient:-)

Just about to post a similar comment, it £4 a table in the uk, £32 a season pack, basically £90. I bought Williams pinball for £15 for 360. Dlc as become ridiculous and stupidly overpriced

$20 was on clearance. That was not the SRP. Microsoft takes 30%, then the licenses. It’s actually really fair, because each table is its own game, with unique physics, modeling etc. pinball is niche to begin with, and just like theCriterion collections pure meticukous presentation of niche material, which has to carry a premium

Williams was $20 on clearance, the original SRP was $50. The current Pinball Arcade through season 3 has many very expensive movie licenses in it. Terminator, Dracula, Star Trek, Teilight Zone, Elvira, universal monsters, and soon, Addams Family. Just check out the Kickstarters, you’re talking almost half a million dollars before they wrote one line of code for those tables. And that’s before they pay Williams or whoever their royalties

So Pinball FX2 which has many licensed games, sells theirs for 2.99 each. That’s every day, not on “sale”. So sounds like the makers of this one were paying too much for the “fees”. Should have worked with the Pinball FX crew and gotten them for cheaper.

I’m not dogging on the game, I want it. Really bad actually. I love the old pinball tables, like Gorgar (grew up with that oversized beast in the ice cream shop down the street, and loved it!). I just wish I could get them a little cheaper. In the end, I’ll somehow end up with them. I just wish they were a little bit cheaper.

Not dogging on them or the games at all as far as the games are concerned.

It showed as 0.00$ is that right? Is it free or a price is different that 0$ dollars.

It’s correct. The ‘hub’ is free, then you buy the tables piecemeal.

Same as the other pinball game. Free to download with I think two free tables then you can buy other new tables.

This is returning soon to 360, btw. Hopefully the version I bought is still good and will get updates and new tables.

Where did you see that? I still have all the original tables that were available for that original version. It would be cool to buy more tables for it.

Since the tables I have previously bought do not carry over to XB1 like the FX tables did, I will pass on this. Yeah nostalgia is fun for awhile but not enough to buy twice.
