What a ripoff. They only give the first episode of The Raven….. Granted all reviews say it’s the only good episode of the 3 but still. Talk about being cheap, instead of giving us the whole game, they only gave us the first episode (with the other two crappy ones that finish the story costing 10$ a piece.). In general i’ve been happy with games with gold, and I’m really looking forward to SSX, but this is kind of an insult.

Not cool with WORMS for Xbox One being free, you put this on sale exclusive for gold members (deals with gold) in October… I bought it for $15. And now you give it away for free? If anything, this just tells me: “DO NOT BUY ANY ID@XBOX GAME BECAUSE THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF AND MAKE IT FREE IN A MONTH OR TWO”

Yep, always wait or search for which games are going to be free next month before buying. Plus they’re doing a bs gold game for free with Raven…. it’s only the first episode, which was highly rated. but if you want to finish the game you have to buy the next two episodes for 10$ a piece

It’s December dude. Worms was on sale in OCTOBER. So how can I search ahead in time to see what is going gold in December? So yeah. There’s no way I could have known, and it was a sneaky move for them to make worms deals with gold and then 2 months later make it free via games with gold. THAT is the sneaky part here, and there is no way I could have anticipated it. Microsoft should have a policy to not make anything free that has been on deals with gold… otherwise it stings pretty bad

Come on….this has been a trend ALL YEAR LONG. Don’t buy anything unless you really want it. If it can wait, wait. If you bought it on sale, oh well, at least you got it for less.

Looks like Australia got Splosion Man as a replacement for The Raven.

Great game if you never played it. One of my favorites back in the day. In fact if I could find someone to play the multiplayer portion now (since I never did play it) I would go for it again.

Fun game, shame the game was given free a lot of times by Doritos and others.

my post got deleted for saying what a crappy release the Raven is. they didn’t even release the whole game, just the first episode. Guess it’s against the rules here to complain about false advertising…… We were supposed to get worms (already own), The Raven (from xbox website seemed like we were getting all 3 episodes but nope just the first, pay 20$ for the rest of the story), and SSX. hopefully SSX will be the full game and not just some of it. Starting to lose faith in the Games for Gold. at least the Playstation releases some current games and some really good games. XBOX tosses us games we bought 4 years ago or like Raven, basically the first episode and if you want to finish it spend another 20 bucks….

you know, i was about to say that I’m glad these indie games we get for free are complete, 1000GS games without any DLC crap….and then Worms released a paid DLC pack today. Lame.

Only the first episode of Raven? Seriously?

SSX is a good game, but has been on sale for less than $5 on both Xbox LIVE and PSN a few times already this year.

GwG is pretty balls lately… Which is a shame, as it was starting to get some steam.

Every month I come here and read people kissing ms a** just because something is “free” and time over again its old useless trash. Take raven fanboys! Might as well be a “free demo” cause youll have to fork out $20 for the rest of the game! Ha! Im sure youll enjoy raven as much as you enjoy keflings!

can I play the first chapter of the raven and it end somewhat complete? or will it leave me hanging and confused with an hour of play time? cause noway is it worth 20, even if I loved it. I just bought brothers for 5, and worth it. this game, im thinking not.

well MS, im still playing darksiders 2, so thanks for that!

Sony is giving away Injustice: Ultimate Edition (a full retail game) and Secret Ponchos (on launch day).

    Xbox, you are lagging behind.

Wow, 1/3 of a game for free on Xbox 360 GWG… For Christ’s sake Microsoft, if you are going to offer free games with games with gold offer the ENTIRE GAME! telltale games already offers/offered Episode One of Walking dead Season 1 and 2 for free and not part of the GWG offer. I feel cheated this month on the game offers, and cheated in general by GWG for saying 2 free games a month for Xbox1 but only offering one new free game a month. It does not take 2 bloody months for someone to decide if they want to download a free game or not. No wonder PS4 sales this past few months have been far greater than Xbox1.

I would agree with you wholeheartedly about offering an episode instead of a full game the way they advertise. I would even go so far as to say I can see some consumer protection agencies taking action about how this month was handled. However, whrn they added the Xbox One to the GWG program they offered more than one title as a bonus, and that caused a lot of people to believe that there would be two games given away like the Xbox 360, but their advertising material is clear that their intention for the One is only one game a month.

Wow. Releasing The Raven with only the first episode? That’s a low blow. That’s like releasing a demo for GWG. “Oh, you really liked the demo? It’ll cost you such and such to fully play it. Enjoy!”
