RISK is now available for Xbox One

Update: Risk and Trivial Pursuit Live!, from the Hasbro channel, was downloadable on Xbox Live for a short period of time in error. It has since been taken down from XBLA and will be available again early 2015 for the official launch.

      I hear we might be getting a big announcement on how cross-platform (Xbox/Windows/Windows Phone) will communicate at the Windows conference. My guess is via the Xbox/Smartglass apps.

    I just want to know if the dice rolls are actually random. Every Risk game I’ve ever played has had obviously pre-determined rolls. I hate that.

    took my last RISK on halo MCC….including last nights patch, a month later mind you, that made the game WORSE for just about everyone on halowaypoint…

        Seems fine to me. Takes maybe 2 min to find a multiplayer match compared to the 30+ minutes at launch. Hope they keep swat as a playlist, only reason I even like halo

        I registered an account on here just to reply to you, while the first two weeks the game released I wholeheartedly agree w/ you, the multiplayer was barely functional and took a long time to get into the game, as of a week or two ago I have no issues w/ the game at all, I can connect and load to multiplayer games very quickly and I do have and do play the game. You can check my achievements.

        If you’d like I can fire up a Skype stream and show you me connecting to games w/ no problem.:)

        It’s better…no where near fine….party issues for many, still connection issues esp those in another country or playing with a mod nat (which, btw, xbox tech support encourages..I know, told them they were crazy)..go to halo waypoint and read the forum topics list..read the matchmaking reports…this game is nowhere near done…

        I know right! What was Sony thinking. All they had to do was design their console so you could easily install a internal hard drive by sliding off the top and unscrewing two screws. Why couldn’t Sony look to the future and understand that game sizes were going to be too big for a fixed none removerable hard drive.

        You are delusional if you think SONY will patch in external support for games, they are too paranoid of piracy to allow this (as it was never implemented on the PS3 either).

        Yes, I and others would have preferred if Microsoft would have launched with a bigger hard drive or made it user-serviceable but am satisfied that they have an external solution not dependent upon proprietary equipment. It allows me to use equipment I already had to increase my storage space 6 fold at the moment with better performing, higher RPM hard drives. Much easier solution too, if I run out of hard drive space I just slap another drive into my USB dock – no tools required.

        Yea I forget to delete games I don’t own anymore. I had games like Unity and evil within which I traded in weeks back. I still had Destiny beta too even though I own the game.

        I lived on 60GB on the 360 for 8 years I had that console. I think I can manage with 500GB for the next 8 haha.

        My biggest install is 51GB which is GTA5. Developers need to compress the file size like last gen.

    Well, I sure hope this is more stable than EA’s RISK. Nothing more frustrating than a game locking up mid-match (even years after launch – no real post release support). I also hope they added host migration, so quitters don’t ruin the game (recently released Monopoly does not have host migration – the host leaves, everyone loses – published by the same studio as RISK.).

    I’l wait for some reviews before buying.
