It’s actually Undead Nightmare Collection that does include the PACK and 2 other DLC’s.

Its just the dlc. You need the game to play it.

FC4 was an extremely long stretch. Given the problems with Unity and The Crew, putting the one game without problems on sale was highly unlikely.

I’d wait to make sure it doesn’t go on sale for New Year’s.

Yeah it was always a long shot. The amount if time it took them to put Black Flag on sale should have been warning enough.

Long stretch? It was released the same day as dragon age, which was on sale 2 days in a row

“The Undead Nightmare Collection combines the Undead Nightmare Pack, Liars and Cheats Pack & Legends and Killers Pack”.

You will need the full base game to play this.

    Like

  • Pete

As the others have said this is just DLC for the base game.

Can see where you’re coming from though as the disc version of “Undead Nightmare” is standalone.

Worth mentioning for anyone that may think that’s what they’re getting.

There were plenty of good games on sale, if you didn’t find anything its because of your own tastes, not the sales

I thought people repeatedly said they could get used copies of DR3 cheaper than in any MS sale. Now we get the Season Pass to use with said cheap used copy. That’s great, right.

Yeah, but Unity had problems (understatement) and The Crew was not well recieved. Ubisoft may not have wanted to put their only game without a black eye on sale.

Dragon Age seems to be a commercial failure, while FC4 tops the charts (along with GTAV, which was another popular demand).

ALL games have been on sale for 2 days in a row!

Dragon Age was just the only one they bothered to “officially” mention on the second day.

I took advantage of the 11th hour Season Pass “deal” with AC:Unity so got FC4 for a steal but it would still have been nice to see at least a small discount for everyone else, it’s a great game.

It doesn’t help that FC4 is one of the many titles that include the £10 digital tax.

Oh you’re right. The games weren’t the issue. The prices were. Not even attempts at being competitively priced

Sunset Overdrive for $30, all the Telltale games for $55, Dragon Age for $38. Those are all excellent prices

the first dlc for bioshock is garbage, and for 5 bucks a piece and if you really want the first dlc, thats still cheaper then the season pass price.

Not when you consider the Walking Dead games on PS4 at $6.24 each or that they cost $14.99 right now on Xbox One.

Wolf among Us is $25, Game of Thrones is $25, Tales from Borderlands is $16 (sale), along with both seasons of Waking Dead, that some $80 on PS4?

    Like

  • Pete

When that includes both of the brand new ones, Tales from the Borderlands and Game of Thrones, it makes the Walking Dead and Wolf Among Us much cheaper.

In the UK WD is on sale for £8.99 and WAU for £10.79 on PS4, so £28.77.

TftBL and GoT are both full price, £16 and £20 respectively, that’s £36.

On Xbox One I picked up ALL of the above for £35. As I was planning on buying the new ones anyway I effectively got WD and WAU for FREE.

Dragon Age is still Top 30, and being an RPG will be a slow but steady seller once the big holiday titles are out of the way.

    Like

  • Jan Václavík

Top 30? That is actually even worse than I thought.
I mean, it is big budget game by major publisher, it was released on five platforms, it was one of the last releases of 2014, it won some GotY awards … it should be selling now, not “maybe next year at reduced price”.

There is no sale for New Years, can you read? This is the last day of sales.

    Like

  • John Apeli

Why? Says who? Steams last day sales are always the worst, as are many others/

    Like

  • reasonsunknown

The fact that it is called a countdown and not just a sale (isn’t steams just a ‘steam sale’ and not a ‘countdown’?) would lead people to believe that at the end of the countdown there is likely to be something special.
