      This game doesn’t get mentioned until like a week before release. If I didn’t read about it on TotalXbox, I would not know anything. Suddenly it’s on sale for $12 (instead of the launch price of $60). I’m afraid this is gonna be offered free as part of Games with Gold soon.

        The game was NEVER $60, it was released at $30. And while it may come to GwG eventually, I wouldn’t expect it soon. We already know we are getting IDARB in Feb and I imagine there are other games we will see before this (Outlast, Contrast, etc).

    Honestly, if I had known that Xbox One users were going to get boned left and right with weak sales while 360 owners were given top priority in life support, I would have kept my 360 for another two years. I have to say even with a 1.2 billion dollar loss, Sony is starting to look pretty good this time around.

        Its not what the competition is doing, its keeping your fans from going to the competition. That’s why cell phone companies make you sign contracts, they know if they loose you they won’t get you back. I don’t feel like Microsoft is trying hard enough, and that’s why they have had to drop the price over $150 in a 1 year span. That’s sort of unheard of in console history.

        Publishers won’t take the time to publish to a console if people are running in droves to the competition. Did you see Sony have a sale,…. Heck no! Because they are still selling at MSRP. If the X1 was selling better it would still have the POS kinect and be priced at $500. Its simple supply and demand. So yeah!!!! It actually does have a lot to do with Microsoft.

        Don’t be stupid please. I love this thought people like you have in that the XBO is selling bad. It in fact is selling great, just because it’s behind the PS4 does NOT mean it’s doing bad by any means. The XBO has sold a lot more than the 360 did at this point in it’s life span which is great considering how well the 360 has done over the last decade. But hey, because you don’t like one of MS’s sales, the system is doing bad, right? Most of sony’s sales aren’t all that great either, usually it’s a free indie game every month (yayyyyyy /puke). Go on sony’s blog site and look at all of those people crying non stop because they don’t like those sales lol.

        You can’t make everyone happy, period. All of the non exclusive publishers are publishing on all systems they can, maybe not all at once but sooner or later they make their way around. Also, I have read that the Kinect is selling really well at it’s separate $150 price point, so I guess there is demand for it. Oh but I forgot, you don’t like it so it should suck to everyone…

        Exactly! On the PS forums it’s “why can’t Sony do things like Xbox”. Seriously time for people to stop complaining about the competition when the competition is doing things the same. The argument that Xbox isn’t going to get titles is ridiculous. The One is nowhere close to being a sub par and low selling console. Yeah they are behind the PS4, but not enough that publishers are going to ignore the massive amount of Xbox ones. There may be a title here and there that is exclusive to PS4 but the One gets its own exclusives as well.

        Wait a second..first you say sonys doing better with the sales and now you’re saying it’s not having sales because it has more consoles sold. That would make them a pretty bad company if the only reason they have sales is because people aren’t buying it as much.

        You are seriously out of your mind if you think publishers are going to stop making games for xbox because ps4 has a slight lead in consoles sold. Do you even hear yourself? The xbox one is selling amazingly, much better than any console Microsoft has ever made and it continues to sell great. Ps4 is just selling better, and that’s great too.. but publishers are very well aware that having their games on xbox is just as important as having them on ps4.. you’re delusional if you think otherwise.

        I don’t think there’s any meaningful competition Xbox One can offer, to be honest. I own all the current and last gen systems, and am happy to, for the most part, because they all offer some solid, unique experiences.
        What I’m *not* happy about is Kinect 2.0, which is just plain awful.

      The 360 is approaching end of life, it’s to be expected. It’s like a shop selling VHS’s cheap because the DVD is taking over. Also, 1.2 billion loss is not the sign of a healthy bank balance.

I mean if is probable that Max game will be free again shortly. My kid would like to have the game but I’m not sure if buy it or wait even if the price is really good right now.

        In my experience with GwG (Since the beginning of the program) no game has returned again as GwG. On the Xbox One, some games will be gwg for 2-3 months in a ROW, but never return.

    I have GTA V for Xbox 360 from previous sales on it, I think I bought it at 50% off on last deals with Gols, I have GTA IV on disc and its DLC stansalone disc, I have GTA San Andreas from first day of its release on Xbox 360! and I really really reccomend it to you at that price! As for Forza I do not know, lol.

      Forza Horizon is great and it’s cheaper now than used at retail or retail in general. Forza 4 (though only season pass is on sale) isn’t for everyone since it’s a sim racer but it is great in that aspect.

    Good deal on GTAV but would have rather seen it for the Xbox One.
    GTA San Andreas is still a giant mess that hasn’t been properly patched.
    Oh and thank you for not letting us know that Silent Hill Downpour was being delisted /s.

    There is, but there is an easy way to fix it. GTA5 is built so that the entire game streams from 2 sources, either the HDD and the DVD or the HDD and another storage device of choice (USB stick) in the case of the GoD version. When you install the GoD game you will be asked to do anther installation of a couple of large files. Once those are done installing go to your storage browser and place those extra files on the USB stick (or the base game, either works). The asset streaming problems will then be gone.

      Thanks, many people on the internet have asked the same question, but nobody gave such a clear explanation.
      In that case: I’m seriously in consideration to purchase the GoD version for this price (I already own the disc version).
      Yep, I’m one of those people who like to have something physical (GTA always have an awesome map), but I like the benefits of GoD. (love the silence of no disc spinning, and switching between games is lazily easy without having to remove/insert another disc).

      Bunch of non selling arcade titles that are actually pretty good (FEZ, DustForce, Gyromance), bunch of lower end games that are good (EDF series, Zoids Assault) and old games and such (DMC4, Bayonetta, Star Ocean TLH). There seriously is a lot they could choose from but I still think it is up to the publishers. Here is to hoping more unique things get a sale sticker soon:)

    Knew it was a matter of time before GTA appeared back as a deal. Someone should do a frequent list in a spread sheet to see if we are really getting deals with gold at least half of the year. I smell Bioshock in our future

      As a matter of fact XBLDB does that in graph form as well as in spreadsheet format. Just click on the game under current deals and it shows all the times it was on sale including any permanent price drops and if you had to be gold or not.

      You have to click on the game title on the right and not the one under the Cover Pic.

    Forza 5 for 60% off would be an instant buy. Been meaning to get a digital version of the game since I am getting sick of swapping discs. I’ll hold out for Styx to become a GWG somewhere down the line; not a must-have for me.
