Evolve Open Beta Starts 15 Jan

Evolve Open Beta

The Evolve Open Beta begins Thursday, Jan 15th and is available to anyone with an Xbox Live Gold account – no code required. Get a head start by pre-loading the beta today and begin playing the moment servers come online at 9am PST.

The Open Beta will feature two playable monsters (Goliath and Kraken), eight hunters and 12 playable maps. In addition, beginning on Saturday, January 17th, beta players will get the exclusive chance to go hands-on in Evacuation mode.  Evacuation mode combines an array of maps and modes to create Evolve’s most epic multiplayer experience.

Also exclusive to Xbox One: any hunter or monster characters unlocked during the beta will carry over to the retail game when Evolve launches on February 10th, 2015. Click here for more information about the game and the open beta.

Evolve is available for pre-order and pre-download from the Xbox Store online with two versions to choose from.

 

 

The Xbox One Evolve Pre-Order Edition includes the standard game and the Monster Expansion Pack. The Monster Expansion pack includes the first new downloadable monster upon release and instantly unlocks a new class of hunters and the monster Wraith.

The Xbox One Evolve Deluxe Edition includes the standard game, plus Season Pass, and the Monster Expansion Pack.

      not everybody has the money to run evolve at the graphical scale of the xbox one on pc,because a low end machine will run the game at low res with certain graphical detail off making mods not worth it enough for the sacrifice you will be making on the graphics department and another thing,is the game optimize for pc chances are is not..

      nobody wants to talk about the weaknesses of pc gaming having to upgrade constantly because of poor optimization is one of them.;

        If you don’t game on a pc, don’t comment about it. You don’t have to constantly upgrade and a decent gaming rig costs just as much as a console does and performs and looks just as good as a game on console assuming the devs didn’t take the lazy way out and port it to pc without even trying to optimize it for the hardware, kinda like how they are nowadays with console games that are broken for months after release.

        I got into PC gaming for 4 years until I realized how much of a time waster and money is to keep up on PC,tell me can your PC run the witcher 3 and daylight?chances are there is a component in your PC your going to upgrade what is it the CPU,RAM,GPU or hey maybe even the motherboard and why because 90% of games on PC are not optimized requiring the raw power of the PC.

        Never said not to buy a console, just telling the guy that pc gaming is FAR from expensive and does NOT require constant upgrading. Besides, pc gaming has more “exclusives” than every console combined if you want to try and start some bs fight over it.

      Buy a PC gamer is the most dumb thing i ever saw. No exclusive AAA titles, upgrade every year, and money money burned. I already buy PS2, PS3, PS Vita, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, late this year i will get my PS4, and maybe a WiiU, but never A PC GAMER.

        Yes. When u spend money with PC GAMER u are losting your money. Next year u will spend everything again, or 2 years late, or 3 years late. My PS3 run every game launch for PS3 forever, Xbox 360 in the same way. My Xbox One will live for, 5,6, 10 years. Im not even using my notebook anymore, i do everything on Xbox One. Im not a grapich b*tch who buy a PC GAMER just to Play KMINES in FullHD 60FPS because PC game doesnt have any exclusive AAA.

      You actually download the Open Beta client which has some of the final game’s content but is not the full game. If you want to pre-order the game, that is a different download entirely I believe.

        hey jerk, I posted this initially because if you read this and went to the dashboard the Evolve picture is just to pre purchase. It would be fair to assume the beta should be included with the picture. Since it wasn’t I asked the question hoping for a nice simple response instead of jerks just saying I am dumb. I did not click the link because of two reasons, a lot of times links are just junk I don’t need to look at and also because if it was what I wanted it would probably send me to the xbox website which always gives me problems. So just by reading this article and looking on the dashboard it is a fair question. so back off and be constructive instead of spewing toxic hate

    For people who don’t want to buy digital just search Evolve and find the open beta, it’s a 20gb+ download and make sure it is FREE, if it’s not you are looking at the wrong thing

    if this BETA will stay at the download speed of 11 Kb/s then probably it is finished by the time the beta is ended😦 MS Please fix those download speeds!! (it isn’t an local issue)

    When i try to download the beta it says i have to pay $0.00 from my
    creditcard. is that for the pre order for the full game to get the beta that i will have to
