        As someone who was felt the alpha was underwhelming the beta I loved purely because of Extraction mode, infinite replay ability and the enemy AI makes it more L4D

        evolve has some potential, like if they do large event, but they won’t. it’s quite repetitive… it’s a no for me.

        the buff the monster/human get for loosing balance in an ennoying way a win, and the so call “win will make a huge difference” is really bad. The added bonus you get for winning are nearly useless. it’s fun for rental, but that’s about it

      I’ve had so many problems with the online Microsoft store. There is zero
      communication with the client when there is a problem on the order. I
      have had multiple issues with this store, but one particular issue I had
      left a permanent sour taste in my mouth.
      I pre-ordered Halo 4 months
      in advance. In the meantime the credit card I used had been renewed.
      Instead of contacting me to get updated billing information (like just
      about every other online store on earth) they cancelled the order and
      did not even contact me until after the fact. There were pre-order
      prices and benefits tied into it and they were sold out. Luckily we
      have a local Microsoft Store, so I went there and they took care of me.
      Digital River (also just down the road from where I work), who I
      believe handles Microsoft online store, is just AWFUL. I’ve told
      everyone who will listen to stay away from the microsoft online store!

        Exactly, they cancelled my order because of “processing issues” and after staying on the phone with support for hours they still couldn’t figure out the problem.

        A friend of mine spoke to support and they told him the digital version of the game is to be released on the 27th, just like in the US. I live in Sweden, but it should be the same for all EU countries, right? It’s still not out over here though. I wonder why it says January 30th on Xbox Store even though the EU release date is supposed to be on the 28th.

        I’m still not convinced as I have read elsewhere that it is the 30th in the UK. Someone on GFAQS has just posted that Techland’s facebook page currently states 30th for the UK. I can’t check as I don’t use that site.

        The digital release date for the game in the UK is the 28th of Janurary, however the date on the xbox hasn’t been updating meaning no one in the UK is able to play the game and has to wait until friday. the online team are useless and don’t seem to care or want to do anything about it.

        It’s available for purchase on my PS4, says add to cart £54.99 and everything. On my Xbox one it still say’s pre-order, it’s strange it’s coming out two different dates on on each console in the UK.

        Hmm, I just double checked as I thought it was weird yours still said 30th. Turns out I didn’t read it properly and was wrong or they just changed it.

        It does say 30th on my Xbox one, but still say’s 28th on my PS4.

        To be honest I don’t have a 100% clue when it’s coming out lol. Sometime between 28th of January and 27th of February is my safe bet lol.

        I think that is what has confused some people that the PS4 gets it on the 28th but we have to wait until the 30th on Xbox One.

        haven’t messed with mine, I buy from 2 different Live region, as I travel back and forth…

        but if you don’t have a credit card and billing address issued on that specific Live region, you gotta use MS credit (gift card), and it works alright

        hm you shouldn’t have to buy the game again, have you logged in with your profile?? should have just said “Install” right away..
        maybe there’s a DRM policy that separates american downloads from european ones, I guess

      is it too much like dead island. I loved dead island, but i’m wishing for more in this game. More challenging, more interactive. Dead island was mostly “enter-clear-pass” and i hope this to be more intelligently changing depending on your action.

      This would seem to be the case. Microsoft have really dropped the ball here, the game is supposed to be out in Europe today, for digital copies. This has been pointed out to them but seems to be falling on deaf, or disinterested ears😦

        The mistake was on the part of Microsoft. The games digital release was brought forward to the 28th in Europe and it would seem that Microsoft didn’t get the memo. At least the game is finally available now anyway.

    The game looks amazing, however the launch has left a lot to be desired. £54.99 for the digital copy, which will be considerably less for the disked version (which can be traded-in later, incidentally) conveniently delayed…Hmmm, yeah riiiight. I might well be cynical but not nearly as much as the publisher.

    So the game feels like a re-skinned Dead Island. I’m sure there are differences, but all the item/gear collecting, the skill trees, weapon feel, its all from Dead Island. Should not have been surprised. Don’t forget to check out the neat Companion App, it’s a bit like the AC Unity one. I haven’t tried parkour yet, I’m sure that’s the differentiator.

    100% this. The silence is deafening. Still got a big chunk of my hard drive taken up by this game that I can’t play, despite the fact they have taken my already absurdly overpriced £55, and the game is out! What are they playing at?
