It still is a great game and at this price it’s a real bargain. Controls are a bit different compared to the PS2 version and it took me some time to get used to aiming and shooting while driving but other than that it’s a great game, it’s huge and after all those years I’ve pretty much forgotten most of what’s going on and it almost feels like a fresh experience.

        Here’s what I could find:

GTA: San Andreas is a mobile port (rather than a PC port or Xbox port). It’s capped at 30 fps instead of 60 fps. It looks like a mobile game blown up on a big screen instead of a true HD port. You get less music, no onscreen haze effects, stuttering frame rates and weird audio cutouts. BTW, I took that information from an article at the TechnoBuffalo website (posted in Oct 2014). The game was on sale back then for $3.74, too, but they didn’t recommend it. At least 17 songs were removed from the steam version of the game. I’m not sure about the Xbox 360 version.

Do a Google search for “san andreas xbox 360 list of issues” for more information. Check out thread at GTAForums. It’s… sad.

That seems strange as San Andreas was one of the first digital games i bought for my 360 back in 2008 when there were no mobile games of that quality. Pretty sure your info is incorrect.

My Bad, I retract my former statement than. That’s pretty crazy they would re-release it and make it worse. At least the version I got was in its original state.

Don’t listen to them, if you want to replay it with great graphics, you should get it, and you can ask Microsoft to help you, not sure if they can.

what a joke. GTAV for retail price!? no way! (its not like retailers havent already offered steeper discounts either). This is why digital pricing is a joke

4 sales a month. Chances are there will be at least one sale you like, one sale you hate, and one sale you feel meh about. The fourth one could fall in any one of those three so at minimum you should find one good sale every month. True with life as well. About 25-33% will be good, 25-33% stink, and the rest just MEH!!

Not trying to be a fanboy since i dont even have a PS4, but how come microsoft always makes it seem like we’re getting the short end of the stick in comparison? Better deals, and better free games avery month. Oh well, at least we’re not getting DDOS’ed every weekend

To be fair, Live is suffering from frequent issues as well. The status of Live stayed red for well over a week. And MS supposedly suffered from the same DDoS attacks over the holidays, but did not compensate their subscribers or even publicly address the issue the way Sony did.
