I’m going to have to get Fantasia again for this price, love that game
Boom ball also seems a fun way to waste £4

Zoo Tycoon is also a possibility

Might just pick up both Castle of Illusion and Max. Other then that, this sale’s honestly lacking. Here’s hoping the weekend bonus will make up for that, though.

Same, I’m hoping for games like Hand Of Fate, White Night, Don Bradmans Cricket (80% off though, £60 is ridiculous), Ryse and of course the £7 Lords of the Fallen.

Agreed that Max is a good game. I also saw it as a lost opportunity as this game seemed perfectly suited for Kinect integration and I feel would have made the game even better.

‘The Xbox One deals offer a combined savings over $2,500 on 276 games’ Can anyone clear this up? New deals every day or what because I don’t see that many games on Sale.

Gonna pick up Table Tennis, always wanted a Table Tennis game (with the exception of the Wii Sports one) and the reviews for it make it seem like it’s the best game ever even though It’s lacking a lot of features. And I also have waited years to buy this game. Literally years.

I loved Zoo Tycoon. You can actually download a demo and try it out first, see if you like it as well.

      • Catalyst

The problem with downloading the Zoo Tycoon demo is that sometimes it gets stuck on your system, and you have to format the drive to remove the icon; pressing the menu button and “hide” does not work. Just a forewarning to anyone thinking of doing so.

I like the number of Season Passes we have for the Xbox One, but the actual game selection is weak. I was hoping to get an actually good deal on GTA V, Dying Light, etc. I was also hoping when FH2 went on sale after the enticing free F&F expansion that it would be at a much better price than $48. Thanks for ME:SOM’s season pass though; I have been waiting for it to drop to $10 or below. Also might grab Fantasia and Monopoly for parties. Just wish more AAA titles were on sale.

I agree. when I seen this Spring “sale” I was like sweet and clicked on it and was like ok mmm where are the games on XB1??? Like 4-5 lackluster games wow really amazing Spring sale!!!.Good to see some people be able to pick up season passes. I too felt the same about the Forza F&F standalone expansion. Was really cool that it was free and whilst short was pretty fleshed out and looked great and was fun. I seen Forza Horizon 2 was part of the deals with Gold this week and though heck yeah this could be a great time to get into Forza as im kind of new to the franchise and fresh off the F&F freebie that was fun. Im sure that was part of the benefit of it being free was to lead possible buyers to Forza Horizon 2 or Forza 5 as even in the game menu there were links to buy those games Now!!! But I looked at the deal and.mmm nope at basically over $50 once tax is included this deal is laughable. So your exclusive special deal for being a gold subscriber is $7-$8 off a $59.99 game wow your too kind lol.
The deals with gold are getting worse as time goes on lol, I guess its a thing where majority of the time MS is going to have bad subpar sales but every once in awhile they put out a great one.

On Xbox 360, from a “family” point of view, there is interresting games offered.
Rayman Origins, Mini Ninja, Max: The Curse of the Brotherhood.
    Any other suggestions ?

    • Michael Burden

I can definitely recommend Rayman and Max, my grandson loved it when he played it on my Xbox One and told his dad he needed to get it for him on the 360 when it released. I’ve heard decent things about Mini Ninjas, but haven’t played the retail game myself (only played the Arcade Kinect one).

Yes, the Kinect one seemed different.
I agree for “Max”; an excellent game, but did not play Rayman Origins, so I will listen to your grandson’s opinion (and yours). A children’s advice is surely good !

You’ve probably purchased it by now, but if you haven’t, it’s an open-world game (you can travel around the city and do whatever) where the protagonist can hack into computer systems/cell phones/atms/streetlights etc.
It plays something similar to Grand Theft Auto, with its own futuristic tweaks.

    • The Geminii23

Grabbed that a while back during a different sale. My family loves it. Pretty fun. As for online multiplayer…have never once been able to find a multiplayer match. I don’t think many people have the game. But you can play local with I think up to 6 people. Also can just play with against computer players I think.

What a horrible sale. How about deep discounts on games people actually want. Also, why offer a discount on a Shadow of Mordor or the Far Cry 4 season passes but not a discount on the actual game. This sale makes no sense at all. You gotta do better then this.

I agree with ya 100%. Anytime I criticize MS for subpar sales and laughable deals on here I find myself quickly having to defend my opinion lol. Good to see some people that already own the games get the DLC passes but mostly id say this sale sucks on the XB1. MS has done some good things In the last year or so in my opinion with the monthly updates, dropping the paywall for apps and adding games with gold to XB1 etc.. but their sales usually suck anymore for some reason lol. You would think a multi-billion dollar company could cut some better deals or work with pubs to offer better sales.

especially considering Microsoft makes about 2.5-3 Billion dollars a quarter, while Sony hasn’t made a profit in 11 years. Microsoft can afford to destroy Sony, and it’s past time they did.
