Been waiting for Defense Grid 2 to be a reasonable price. Instant buy at $6.25! =)

Careful they may be prepping it for a GwG offer. It’s a good candidate.

This is what’s inherently wrong with GwG. It discourages any spending at all — even on such a good game as DG2, and at an awesome price.

It’s $6. Who cares if it’s free 2 months down the road. If it’s a game you’ll enjoy and you really want it then buy it. If it’s not free months from now then you will have waited for nothing. Does $6 really mean that much to you?

Did you mean to reply to ElektroDragon? Because I wholly support getting DG2 for $6 instead of waiting.

No. I was responding to you. I think he thinks I was responding to him though lol.

Yes because I’ve been burned too many times by both Sony and MS with them putting a specific game on firesale then offering it free a month or two later. It’s a tactic they use. Smart consumers recognize it. And besides, even at $6 I was on the fence with this one.

i agree at full price its a horrible deal , and at $6 its still a not buy unless you love this style of game because its generic and plain and dull that there are a lot of other things worth my $6 over this game . The world would be really messed if every one was dumb enough to go hey its only $6 buy it because that not much even though it not worth that price unless your a huge fan . what a waste of money sheeple all becayse they over charged LOL charging nearly $30 for this game after tax in my region is insane its $5 game at best and a $3 steam game quality

I was responding to kftgr, but in light of your response, you said it’s such a good game and an awesome price, yet you’re on the fence about purchasing it. A sale doesn’t always guarantee it will go free. And getting burned over $6 is really not as bad as you make it sound. I bought Dragon’s Crown on Playstation for $20 a month before they threw it on Plus, but that was $20. I would not have cared as much if it had’ve been $6 because the whole while you’re waiting for it to go free, you could have been playing and enjoying it. That’s why I said if you’ll enjoy it that you should pick it up. I don’t know your finances, nor are they any of my business, but $6 to me is a paltry amount.

This game completely deserves my $6. It could go free tomorrow and I’d still be happy with my purchase.

Thinking of buying Metro Redux, is it worth the price now that its even older? Really enjoyed last light when i had it on PC but could never finish it beacause of the issues it had with ATI graphic cards at the time.

I bought it when it 1st released on X1

I enjoyed going through them, I would say that Last Light was definitely the Vetter of the 2 – For the price offered here I’d say go for it

Wooh slow down there. Last Light fell flat on its face in the 3rd act.
2033 Redux is the better Metro experience

I think the laws of the internet also state that, “Someone who has never played the game mentioned must include their own input, surely making it sound as ridiculous as possible”. Sounds like I have a job!;)

I have never played either, so therefor the new Wolfenstein must be better even though I haven’t played it either!

For the price of nhl15, one could sign up for ea access, get nhl15 that way, as well as access to something like 9 other games right now and whatever is added to it in the next 12 months, which is sure to be fifa 15, dragon age, battlefield hard line, maybe titanfall, and who knows what. Better use of 30$ in my book.

Titanfall won’t be included (there’s a rule mentioned about it), but I’m pretty sure Inquisition was confirmed for an eventual EA Access release.:)

Wasn’t Metro Redux’s cheaper during the Holiday sale in December? For some reason I was thinking it was closer to $20 then…

Seriously tempted on Defense Grid 2 but I bought several games last week and my backlog is getting so big. I think I am going to have to skip everything this week. If I do get anything it will be DG2 since $6 is something I can talk myself into…

Evil Within is a decent game and a decent price (which is even better if you buy it with cheap xbox gift cards), but why do these deals never provide the same offer for the season pass of the game(s) on sale?

  • elMORRO

The Evil Within should have been a cross-buy right from the release since the game looks nearly identical on 360 and Xone anyway.
Was really interested in buying DLC’s and jumping back in but no way I’m going to get my 360 out just for that.
The alternative of buying both the DLC and the game again just for a couple of hours of gameplay is not much more compelling either.

This is so much better than the Spring (Autumn for us in Australia sale). Don’t understand how a standard weekly sale can be better than a big promo sale, maybe should have taken some of these deals and swapped them with some from the “bigger” sale.

Still can’t convince myself to get Evil Within, the physical release seems to be dropping in price quickly so I’ll probably just wait for that

Evil within at that price though…
Retail versions are probably going for HALF that price. Steam had it on for £12.
