    I know “indie” seems to be the big thing these days.. but I really wish the smaller budget games like these would have their own section in the xbox marketplace. Just my opinion.. what can I say, mostly I’m a AAA game kinda guy.. of course there are quite a few exceptions to that but just more or less.

      Good point…there isn’t really a way to filter is there? I mean on the 360 there were the “Arcade” games, but on the X1, they’re just all presented the same, aren’t they?

        Yip. It’s all in one place. There’s categories like coming soon or new releases but yeah all games are lumped together.

        yeah i also hate how there is no ‘arcade’ section, in general i really dont like the xbones store or interface, it was so simple and easy on 360, now everything is a mess.

        They did it that way because people complained about it on the 360 for whatever reason. Users and the indie makers said they didn’t get enough exposure being stuck on the old “indie” (forgot the actual name) tab / that they games were “hard” to find.

        So MS lumped them in with the big boy games to alleviate the issue. But now it’s an issue again lol.

        Yeah it’s great on 360 where the XBLIGs are in their own section so I don’t have to look at them. Hell now they’re at the end and I don’t have to skip over them to get to add-ons they don’t even get a glance! It’s fantastic.

        One of the reasons I like the PS4 store more then X1.

        If I want to play an indie game all I have to do is search on “Digital only” tab on the PS4 which is were indie games hang out.

        Digital only games > Ziggurat, Costume quest 2, Bastion, super mega baseball, Axiom verge and so on. So easy.

        It’s going to disappear on the 360 soon. There’s already evidence of it with the reshuffle of categories and games with other labels on the Store there.

        Just need a section called download exclusives or digital exclusives. I get games cheaper at retail most of the time. Or put 10 filters in there to chose from and call it a day. Newest-oldest, digital only, price, alphabetical, sale, free with gold, 2d, etc, etc. I understand they want to push visibility for certain titles, there still room to fully customise your own store and fit recommendations and ads!

    By the title, this could have been a Halo game😉 where you just run along the UNSC Infinity fighting off covenant and prometheans.
    Does look repetitive though, but I’ll try it for the 6,99 even if it has a 56 on metacritic.

    The game is only 7 dollars which is great for anyone who wants to try it out. But it also conveys a sense that the developers don’t want people pissed off at them for wasting money on the game.

    I saw someone playing this game on Twitter and I have to say, this looks to be the most pointless Xbox One game I have ever seen. It looks downright horrible. Run, don’t walk, away from this game.

    This! Let people find what they are looking for quickly , instead of pushing what you want them to find in front of them.

    Have side bars or something to advertise games that you want to promote , but let the center of the screen be the search results that display what the customer is looking for using search terms and filters.

    The faster the customer can find what they want, the faster they will buy it and the more likely they will come back looking for more games to buy.

    Make it difficult by presenting a cluttered interface full of indie games , the more likely that they will avoid your store altogether .
