not at all, but you do need some friends to play with to keep it fun

    Okay, now I’m really mad.

My friend and I decided to play some WWE2K15 tonight…and guess what…EVERYTHING WAS GONE!

Our DLC was gone, our game saves were gone…EVERYTHING. We both had to reinstall ALL of our DLC…but as far as our game saves and game progress…ALL GONE!

Xbox…are you ever gonna do anything about their awful servers…because now their server issues has caused my friend and I to lose EVERYTHING.

Also, about a week ago I decided to try playing WWE2K14 on my 360…and surprise surprise, the online servers were down.

WWE2K14 servers are awful…WWE2K15 servers are awful.

    Xbox…DO SOMETHING!!!!

Can we get some quality control going? PLEASE?

Pretty sure that WWE having broken servers is common knowledge by now.
But hey, you should be WWE2K16 when it comes out, who know they might fix it this time~

Um, yah, that’s not on MS’s end buddy. Go complain to 2k / dev, they are the ones with the servers and what not. It’s not exactly a new issue either sadly.

You’re complaining to the wrong people, you should be ranting about this at Take Two, 2K Games, or Visual Concepts – you know the ones who made the game, published it, and hosts the servers.

If I was a console maker…the contract with the developer would include the requirement of having servers that are fully ready at game launch…no excuses…or suffer a financial penalty, and more than likely the pulling of the game off the shelves until they fix the issue.

ALL games made for MY console would work right, or those developers would not be allowed to make games for my console. Who cares if that scares off bad developers…there are plenty of good developers out there that would have no worries about my strict requirements.

And to update the WWE2K15 info from yesterday, my friend and I reinstalled all of our DLC then attempted to play online, First game, worked…we connected, played our match…seemed fine. Second match, both of us lose connection to the server. Third match, both of use lose connection to the server. Forth match, both of use lose connection to the server.

So we switched to MKX…which DOES work, servers and all. Great game, by the way. Highly recommend it!!!

Yeah, Microsoft tried that with the original Xbox with them hosting all servers and nearly lost EA because of it, as EA wanted control over their own servers and the option to shut them down when they saw fit. After seeing what happened to the Dreamcast without EA support, Microsoft quickly changed their policy. And how well did Microsoft’s other attempt at punishing developers for bad games go? They used to slap additional fees on excessive patches to encourage developers to make the game right the first time, but instead we ended up with games that never got patched because the developer was unwilling to pay to certify a new patch (Fez anyone?).

FYI, the game in question here is also suffering from the same problems on that other platform. So send your complaints and displeasure to the appropriate parties mentioned above and it may get better results than posting here on an article that has nothing to do with WWE.

I’d just like for this to happen…

Major Nelson calls the developer, asks to speak with the person/people in charge of the servers. That person picks up the phone, “You have a call from Larry Hryb from Xbox.”

“This is Larry Hryb from Xbox, WHAT’S THE PROBLEM, BUD?”

        Hehe.

I think its fine-ish with online games as it allows you to keep playing once you upgrade to new system. I am not fond of all those “definitive editions”, but I am looking forward to get World of Tanks with cross-platform MP on One.

Would be nice to get into an online game, been waiting 30 minutes so far watching people drop in and out. When it seems something is happening I get booted due network issues my end or so it claims.

the first match takes forever to start. but after that if you stay in the lobby it will usually start the next game in a minute or two.

yeah they need to improve the lobby system. maybe decrease the timeout value for waiting players to contact other players.

Ok after trying to play this game a bit it is obvious they have not fixed any problems and still don’t know how to run a game. The servers are poop, the lobby system only exists once you start searhing for a game so your friends need to join right away to try and get in. If they can even connect to you that is. And split screen is ALWAYS a 4 way split so I am playing with 1 friend and we have 2 boxes that just focus on other players

I was excited to play it again, until I realized just how much of a “pay to win” type game this has become. If you don’t drop money on this game it won’t go very well for you.

Ok… i played it for 2 days and… i’m disapointed, i played that game… 1 year ago? it had the wheel of luck where you could get a rare, premium or legendary item with a bit of chance, but you could, now the game went full p2w, they have some sort of *packs of cards lite* that only awards common items to the buyers, yes, star points are nothing to the game now, while if you pay for “happy tickets” with your money you can get the most OP items on the game, this game isn’t worth of playing anymore, i uninstalled it, now back to titanfall.
