    any preorder bonuses?

I was kind of wondering the same thing to. The pre-orders are where MS kind of needs to step it up to compete with Sony who offers discounts on most of their pre-ordered games.

        Don’t forget Xbox ”Rewards”.

I personally don’t see the Xbox Rewards program as much of a reason to pre-order with MS (the rewards program with Sony has so many similarities that it doesn’t really distinguish itself enough to make it “the reason” for digital purchases). With the reward program a customer always has the “if” and “when” to deal with that an immediate discount does not. Some will find the rewards program to be invaluable, and I would agree to some extents, just not on pre-purchases. Especially when there is often multiple purchases required in a limited time frame.

Gamestop doesn’t have any pre-order bonuses listed for it on their site, so if they don’t I think its safe to say probably not this soon to release.

I was about to say I need to finish up the first one first… But this is a prequel so at $20 I might pick up… After I somehow get past my back catalog, which is increasing constantly. So many damn good games to play.

I’ve had it about a year… I just try to pick up the good games as they come out… And get the old ones as they go up on sale… Sometimes I get caught up on one game like ori and now I can’t put down the golf club… I think I’m close to that number… I’ll check and edit post xD

37.14GB! Holy mother of file size!
With Wolfenstein The New order raking up 44.5GB this series will already be taking up 81.64GB! Come on dev’s start compressing those file sizes down

It’s a stand alone game too isn’t it?

The Witcher 3 developers got their game down to 31GB, how is this 37GB for a stand alone game.

      Like

      • Michael Burden

Well it will run at 1080p and 60fps for one, unlike The Witcher 3. And a stand-alone game uses more than an add-on as it doesn’t have the luxury of sharing the engine or assets from the main game.

Thats the issue with Standalone expansions though its too late to release it as a standard DLC

I enjoy stand alone games better then straight up DLC.

I completed and traded in Wolfenstein months back, with the stand alone I can enjoy this.

Same thing happened with Infmous and first light.

I do agree stand alone is probably for the better this game, it’s a year old and most people have beaten and sold it by now.
Releasing it as DLC,would probably doom it as well

It’s the idTech5 engine and its megatextures, they actually compressed those files a lot.
Real size would be over 500gb.

Bethesda makes few games. They have little to talk about. There is no reason for a press conference from them.

Fallout 4 or whatever it’s going to be called has the hype worthy of a press conference.

They may output fewer games in a yearly cycle, but the games they do put out are typically large and highly anticipated. This year they will be more than likely speaking about Fallout 4 and Doom, as well as upcoming content updates for Elder Scrolls Online. There is also a chance they will be mentioning the next regular Elder Scrolls game as well as the next Dishonored game. I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if they announce a new IP as well in their conference.

They wouldn’t have planned their seperate conference if they had nothing to discuss.

there’s almost no chance of Doom coming out. Fallout 3 wasn’t any good. I don’t get why people want a continuation of a mediocre series. ESO has been laughed at by PC people. Unless the console version is completely different, they have nothing to announce there.

So in other words, you have no facts and only just your own jaded opinion you try to pass off as such.

Doom is coming, I don’t know why you would even doubt that. I’ll gladly take your money should you want to wager on it.

Fallout 3 was well received both critically and commercially. It was hardly mediocre and one of the most anticipated sequels. Your opinion seems to be the minority.

I learned to stop listening to PC elitists a long time ago.

        1. because you are just a simple creature, I’ll be more specific…. there is no chance of Doom coming out this year, so there’s no reason for them to talk about it. For starters, they owe Wolfenstein purchasers a beta that hasn’t even been announced yet.

        2. There are a lot of people that didn’t like Fallout 3, and rightfully so. It was a bad game. If you liked it, good for you.

First off, there is no need to stoop to insults as it just shows your lack of maturity. I never said it was coming this year, I only said it was coming to counter your claim that it wasn’t coming at all. Just because the beta has not happened is all the more reason for them to talk about it or show work being done, as well as announce when that beta might take place.

Many people don’t like lots of games for various reasons, and your OPINION is hardly the last word on the subject. As I said, the critics and market have already spoken that it was a good and successful game, your OPINION is noted but irrelevant. Fact is, a LOT more people thought it was a good game than those FEW that didn’t – enough that Bethesda thought it worthy of a sequel. That does not mean there isn’t room for improvement in the game, but it was not a bad game by any means (as both reviews and sales showed overwhelmingly). It was just a game you didn’t like – there is a difference.

Bethesda would not have scheduled their own conference during E3 for the first time ever if they had nothing to discuss or show.
