Game Description: Schrödinger’s Cat is a fun, frantic, wacky and colourful puzzle-laden platform game, set in a unique and quirky quantum physics world. There’s chaos at the Particle Zoo! What used to be a cheery theme-park environment is now overrun with hungry leptons, sticky-fingered gluons and massive, stubborn bosons. The Zoo is put on lockdown, and the emergency services are called in to sort everything out. Those emergency services? Schrödinger’s Cat, of course!

If I didn’t know better I’d think this was a Double Fine production. Looks like a fun game and again cheaper on the Xbox One even without a discount then on Steam. I just started getting back into gaming on my PC since my new monitor allows it but if this price difference keeps happening on these type games it will push me quicker to the One.

Microsoft should keep this up and also allow cross-buying with the Store on PC. Best of all worlds, all nicely in the Windows and Xbox gaming ecosystem.

Nice idea but I would be really shocked if they allowed cross buying they would rather us pay twice for something than give it away.

That’s true, but Universal Windows Apps is actually designed for this.

That has always been an issue with competative PC games and thus why a lot of us PC gamers also have games consoles.

It also highly depends on the game. Most games would work great cross-platform locked in the MS Xbox ecosystem.

Didn’t they already try that with a couple of games a few years back when they were pushing GFWL. I can’t remember the names of the games now though.

Yeah, but the problem was the GFWL client itself. It was intrusive, resource intensive and it also almost never worked well within game (worked well in H2V), that’s why it was “hated” by the PC community.
The current Xbox app on Windows no longer has those problems and goes idle when another process is running unless it is called upon.

I have to say that I must have been very lucky as I didn’t have a single issue with GFLW and I had many games that supported it. However I know a lot of others did from my chats on the Steam forums.

It is good that the new app is much better for everyone. I have been using the Windows 10 preview for about a month now and it does seem a lot better than 8 but I still prefer 7 as I suppose it is what I am used to.

10 is very streamlined though and will likely keep on improving.
