Good stuff. Isn’t Halo: ODST supposed to be out by the end of May for early buyers of Halo:MCC? I could have sworn 343 promised it by the end of this month…

Yeah, I know, but there have been so many posts asking for it on the Halo Waypoint forums that I hope they’ve gone the extra mile to include it in the end. I loved FireFight, it was awesome and VidMaster Endure was a great challenge.

I can only comment on the UK version but it looks to be much the same

This plugs into the a USB & works much the same way as having a TV source plugged into the HDMI in. The added benefit being you can now use the X1 hard drive to pause live TV etc, it also leaves the HDMI in slot for something else. I have my 360 hooked up now

      I think that’s basically it

ok so can it use the xbone hard drive like a dvr and record as well as pause?

      • TheHeraldOfDeath

Live pause yes, recording is apparently being worked on.

Not yet, but I’m fairly sure I read about a future update enabling such a feature

This is for people who want OTA (Over the Air) TV and not have to pay for cable or satellite. Or who can’t get cable or satellite in their area.

Can someone help me? I have some DLCs installed to which I don’t have games installed, how can I delete them? DLCs alone are not visible in the My Games And Apps app so I can’t manage them there?
    Any advice would be appreciated!

You can’t unless you format the device they’re installed on or reset the system back to factory defaults in case of the internal hard drive.

Well, that sucks! A full-fledged storage manager would great. Thanks!

So does anyone know if streaming to a device with Smartglass only works with the TV Tuner? Or will this also work with a cable/satellite box?

I think it’s still being worked on for the HDMI in.

Ah yes, makes sense. I’m sure cable/satellite providers don’t want anyone streaming anything without their consent (or a way to make money off of it.)

Oh yes😦, but now that Windows Media Center is officially dead, I think it’s time MS started implementing the missing features for the Xbox One.

That’s my biggest gripe with the xbox on our main TV in the house. My wife usually watches her DVR’d shows most of the time. SO I don’t get much gaming in😦 If she could stream to my Surface we both would be happy:) I’m curious with the new Windows 10 if the game streaming to Smartglass will allow someone to watch TV on the Xbox One.

That bit at the end of the show was embarrassing why are these bits here? the show would be a lot better without them.

To spotlight the community. It’s supposed to be not just about Microsoft telling us stuff, but showing our talents as well.
