I really wanted to listen to this (actually did listen to the first couple of minutes), but I’m afraid of spoilers, so I stopped.

Already started the journey due to EA Access, but I’m afraid that the six hours will fly by soon enough.

So cannot wait for this game. It kinda sucks though because all the great games that came out lately and are coming out on that day as well might just fall to the side once I start playing it lol so I might have to save it til after I clear up a few games from my backlog…

really can’t wait for them to patch assasins creed unity because besides the terrible bugs/framerate issues I was enjoying it, but I had to stop playing it.. it was just too bad to play.

i am playing on ps4 and there is a lot of hit detection problems and weird glitches but i do like it. people are saying rogue is better but i played it and it felt like ac:black flag again so i just sent it back. might pick it up again in the future. when far cry 4 drops i am dropping everything and playing that.

Ps4? Pshhh… trader! Hahaha jk but yeah I played it for a few hours and I definitely want to wait til they get it all fixed so I can enjoy it more. I wanted to get rogue because I really loved black flag.. but I have quite a suspicion that within 6 months they will be porting it to next gen… so I’m gonna wait and see.

Yeah I’m really excited for far cry as well man looks amazing. It’s gonna be an expensive day this Tuesday for me lol.. dragon age, far cry, and gta 5. Aw well its pretty much the last games I’ll be getting til the new year.

Go offline completely and that will help to fix some of the frame rate issues. It’s dropping frames because it’s trying to connect to the Uplay / Ubisoft server and failing.

I brought it yesterday on PS4 and there has already been two update files for it so hopefully the bugs and glitches will be fixed soon.

The digital foundry test they did with that workaround said it didn’t help the framerate at all and was in some cases worse.:/

Digital foundry also said Dead Rising 3 had major 10 fps issues yet when I picked that up at launch I saw no frame drops. I don’t listen to what other paid people have to say. I’ll test myself and try the games myself.

Okay… so did you test that workaround ?

Yea I tested it on the opening cut scene and prologue area where I was getting massive amounts of frame drops.

I haven’t tested with the rest of the game if there has been any frame rate drops because like I said I’ve had two updates since then and I seem to be frame drop free even online with the updates.

Yea I hear a lot of people say they didn’t like the second one but I actually only played it for the first time about 6 months ago and I really enjoyed it. I mean it’s easy to see the flaws with all the reused areas and textures used to get the game out early, but I really enjoyed the story and I even liked the combat

I like the looks of this game but I never played the first two and this seems like a franchise that you need to know what you’re doing and what the back story is about, so I guess I’ll have to miss it unless I can find some tips and backstory.

Look up Dragon Age Keep. You can watch a synopsis of the events of the previous games and even change the decisions. You can also upload the customized world state to play in Inquisition.

Inquisition looks to be great on the PC. Have a very difficult time with Maj Nelson because of his silly & highly dishonest “transistors in the sky” remarks about xBone, leading some poor deluded souls to think that xBone’s hardware was largely irrelevant to its performance.
