Marc, Major, Phil, and the rest of the Xbox team I just want to congratulate you on doing a great job with the Xbox brand. The new X1 is really awesome now with all of the new updates. It has a lot of great features. It’s fast and smooth. I really like the U.I. on it. There have been some great gaming times I have had on all three of the Xbox consoles. From sharing Halo Combat Evolved on the first Xbox with my brothers as kids, to playing Madden leagues with friends and family online with 360, to countless Halo Wars matches, many great single player experiences and online matches, and now I’m enjoying and excited to see what’s in store for the Xbox One. I more than get my money’s worth out of Xbox.

I didn’t want to make the previous post too long. One of the specific things that I wanted to say about the X1 is that I like how while I’m waiting in a lobby for a Titanfall match I can go surf the web or look at my achievements in a big full screen colorful version of them. At when the match is ready I can quickly switch back to the game or between apps.

And also Titanfall is really really good! It stays interesting

      • Charles

Gameply. It stays interesting and exciting. It doesn’t get repetitive.

Metal gear solid ground zero is meant to work with smart glass but for some reason it not working at all it acts like it doesn’t exist even though it does

When is the voice control going to improve?

It was probably the biggest letdown for me. I had Dragon Naturally Speaking on my laptop in 2004, and as primitive as it was, it exceeded the capabilities and quality of the X1’s system here in 2014, ten years later.

The Xbox does a decent job with things in the direct system UI that it was specifically designed and programmed for, but almost completely fails when it comes to situations that require it to actually listen for things on the fly. Internet Explorer is a prime example, sometimes it is nearly impossible to get it to interpret you correctly. 100% failure rate over 20 attempts is pretty pathetic given your competition from Google Now and Siri.
