Lee, I use an app called Push Pod. It supports RSS feeds happily and my Surface is now better at podcasts than my WP8.:/

I had one that was a loaner…but I had to return it.

That’s a shame, since using it I have found that I can now get rid of some devices because a surface does everything I need it too.

I heard that too. Was quite surprised. Not offended of course, it’s just that it happens so rarely. It happened maybe once before a few years ago when e and MN were talking about TGS. That’s it afaik. Twice. Ever.

I’ll confirm as well, at the 23:53 mark discussing Halo 4 Legendary mode. I was surprised too, and rewound it three times to make sure I heard it right. As with the other guy, not offended, just surprised, since I thought Major always edited slip ups out.

Instead of bleeping, or editing out profanity in the future, Major should insert E saying “Spatchcock!” I mean, really, who gives a spatchcock?

You talk about how Far Cry 3 is different from its predecessors and not what you expected, and none of you manage to say anything like “It’s a far cry from the other games!”

    For SHAME!

Major, I’m totally digging Far Cry 3. And E, I’m not a big sandbox fan either. I’m not a big fan of, “okay, now, brush your teeth. And then, go here and take this picture. Now, change your underwear….” I do think some games need serious editing. But Far Cry 3 works. I’m sure Major would agree it takes about three hours to really get to the meat of the game (no pun intended). But once it clicks, this game really works. I’d suggest giving it another chance if you get the time (that’s the hitch, I’m sure). Can’t wait to get my hands on Hitman. LOVED Dishonored. LOVED Halo 4. Can’t wait to get back into Borderlands 2. Happy holidays!

Love the anonymity of the internet, where someone can come in here and click down on each and every comment. What does that do for someone, make them feel empowered?

If you are still looking for comments for the blog, I have one. The one thing I would love to see on the blog is a dedicated tab for marketplace sales. When I’m not on my Xbox , and other than the usual deal-of-the-week stuff, I have a heck of a time finding what is on sale when without turning to third party websites. I would prefer to have a place to go where I can always easily see the sales that are going on in the Marketplace and then access those sales via a direct link to the item on xbox.com. And I also prefer to get my info “from the source” so to speak. You being “the source” in this instance. Keep up the good work Major!

Good feedback. I’ve got a few ideas that we’re going to work on.

My 2-cents for changes I’d like to see made to the blog.
    1. Make it more friendly to mobile web browsers. Things sometime skew weird or text goes off into the grey making it hard to read.
    2. Always include at least one picture for each blog post so when we repost entries on Facebook it looks more attractive and not just a couple of lines of text.
    3. Switch from Google AdSense to Microsoft AdCenter. (Unless that’s against the rules for a Microsoft employee.) It always stuck me as odd that the blog for Xbox has Google ads on it.
