Through this weekend, Xbox Live Gold members can play a fantastic variety of titles from horror, to action adventure to creation. Survive or kill in adrenaline-filled matches from iconic horror films in Dead by Daylight: Special Edition. Experience explosive action in a large, open world in Just Cause 4. Design and build your own creations in a sandbox adventure game in TerraTech. This weekend, the choice is yours!

You can find and install the games here on Xbox.com. In the Microsoft Store, you must be signed in to see the option to install with your Xbox Live Gold membership. To download on console, click on the Gold member area on the home dashboard on your Xbox One.

If you like what you’ve played and want to keep the fun going, the games are available for purchase at a discount so you can continue playing while keeping your Gamerscore and achievements earned in-game during the event.

 Dead by Daylight: Special Edition

Dead by Daylight is a 1v4 multiplayer game that allows you to choose between playing an unstoppable killer and one of four survivors trying to evade a gruesome death. During the Free Play Days event, choose from seven killers and eight survivors. This deadly game of cat and mouse also lets you to meet some of the most iconic killers and survivors from horror franchises, such the latest addition: “Stranger Things“ (sold separately)!

Just Cause 4

Strap into your wingsuit and bring the thunder in Just Cause 4. Explore the open world of Solís as Rico Rodriguez and take down the Blackhand by any means necessary. Access an arsenal of gadgets, weapons, and vehicles in the largest and most action-packed Just Cause game there is!

TerraTech

In TerraTech you explore, build, craft and battle across alien worlds in a physics-based construction sandbox. Design cars, tanks and planes from a huge library of blocks. Scavenge, craft and buy new parts in order to survive and become the ultimate planetary prospector. Also just around the corner is the next major free content update, including a whole new futuristic corporation – Better Future – and an online co-op Creative mode!

For the month of September, Xbox Live Gold members will receive four new free games – two on Xbox One and two on Xbox 360 – as part of the Games with Gold program. You can play both Xbox 360 titles on your Xbox One with Backward Compatibility.

On Xbox One, Xbox Live Gold members can download Hitman: The Complete First Season ($39.99 ERP) for free during the month of September. We Were Here ($4.99 ERP) will be available as a free download from September 16th to October 15th.

On Xbox 360, starting September 1st, Earth Defense Force 2025 ($49.99 ERP) will be free for Xbox Live Gold members through September 15th. Then on September 16th, Xbox Live Gold Members can download Tekken Tag Tournament 2 ($19.99 ERP) for free through September 30th.

This week, we have some exciting games to announce for the Free Play Days event! To make it even better, both games will be available for Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members to play for a whole week.

Starting today, The Elder Scrolls Online is available from Tuesday, August 27 at 7:00 a.m. PDT through to Tuesday, September 3 at 7:00 a.m. PDT.

Tomorrow, Rainbow Six Siege becomes available from Wednesday, August 28 at 12:01 a.m. PDT through to Tuesday, September 3 at 11:59 p.m. PDT.

The Elder Scrolls Online

Explore a world without limits during The Elder Scrolls Online Free Play Days Event. The base game includes access to four powerful Classes, 23 unique zones filled with adventures, the game’s epic main story questline, and much more. That’s tons of adventure in the ever-growing world of Tamriel!

In addition to the base game access, you can visit Morrowind, the island home of the Dark Elves. There, explore ESO’s first Chapter and help the Tribunal member Vivec restore his lost power.

But that’s not all! Begin your own Season of the Dragon adventure by checking out the Elsweyr Prologue quest and release Dragons into the realm of the Khajiit. The Season of the Dragon began earlier this year with the Wrathstone DLC game pack, but you can experience this important part of the year-long story for yourself during the Free Play Days event!

If you’ve played in a Free Play Days event previously, you’ll be able to continue your adventure as if you never left, and all new ESO accounts made will also receive 500 crowns for the in-game Crown Store.

Rainbow Six Siege

The tense, tactical firefights of Rainbow Six Siege will be free for a week to all Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members, throwing open the doors for anyone who wants to breach through walls, smash through floors, and outwit enemy teams using an ever-growing roster of gadget-equipped Operators. During the Free Play Days event, all maps and modes will be available for free to players, along with 20 of the game’s Operators.

The Free Play Days event is an ideal opportunity for new players to ease into the game ahead of the upcoming Operation Ember Rise, which will rework the Kanal map and introduce two new Latin American Operators: Goyo, a Defender from Mexico whose deployable shields hide an explosive, fiery surprise; and Amaru, an Attacker from Peru whose grappling hook lets her zip to ledges and crash through windows. Since launching Xbox Game Pass for PC (Beta) alongside the new Xbox (Beta) app at E3 2019, we’ve been listening closely to your ideas on how to make your PC gaming experience better and are excited to share some updates, driven by your feedback. In addition to delivering more great games, we’ve made some updates to the Xbox Game Pass for PC experience to make it easier for you to discover and manage the titles in your library, as well as connect with your gaming community. Some of these features are available today, and others will release in the coming weeks.

Here’s a breakdown of what’s new:

* Find Your Friends Across Networks: We know staying connected to your friends while gaming is important, so we’ve made some updates to make it easier to find and start playing with your friends with new account linking options. In addition to adding friends via their Xbox gamertags, you’ll now be able to search for friends from Facebook or Steam that are also on Xbox. You’ll also be able to link your accounts for YouTube, Twitch, Twitter, Discord, and Reddit on your player card so your friends can follow your gaming adventures no matter where you are.

*New Ways to Find and Filter Games: We’ve also heard you wanted improvements to the way you can manage your games within the new Xbox (Beta) app. Soon, you’ll be able to take advantage of new filter options from the sidebar to make finding your favorite games and managing your DLC even easier.

*More Control on Managing Downloads: We’re also making some updates to the drive selector that not only display the disk space required for each game, but also enable you to select the drive where you want your games installed.

*PC Joins the Mobile App: To make it easier for you to manage your Xbox Game Pass for PC library while on the go, we’re excited to share the Xbox Game Pass mobile app now includes PC titles. With this update that we’re currently testing in Beta, you can also browse and discover games in the Xbox Game Pass for PC library and download them anytime and anywhere to your PC. To take advantage of these features, gamers can download the Xbox Game Pass mobile app (Beta) available on iOS and Android This feature is available in public beta on Android devices, and in a closed Beta on iOS devices, and we will have more to share soon.

We’re excited about the progress we’re making to deliver a great Xbox Game Pass for PC experience and we will continue to deliver more improvements over the coming months based on your input, so please keep the feedback coming.
